Low progesterone in luteal phase, but not short luteal phase - help!

My waking temperature has always been pretty low, and my temp during the luteal phase has been low too, but every time I've brought it up, every single doctor has said that it's nothing to worry about. However, looking over my charts, in every one there is a real pattern of low temps, moving to low temps, which I've read is typical of someone not producing enough progesterone. The author of The Fertility Diet recommends sweet potato, flax seeds, agnus castus and vitamin b6, so I've been doing quite a bit of that. I've also been thinking about the progesterone cream, but would appreciate a bit of advice. How does this affect things? Is there any way that using it could be detrimental?

Thanks for any advice.

I had low progesterone (blood tests done). I had acupuncture and within 3 months, my hormone levels were completely normal .

Have you had any tests done?
