Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

How's everyone doing?

My bloods HCG were at 25 this week. One more test hopefully.

babyblue3 · 01/11/2009 14:09

How was everyones' Halloween??? Weather was blustery here, but the DCs had fun! DD2 was so cute! She was able to go door to door and collected quite the loot! Suddenly she knows how to say CANDY!!! Hahaha!! Marco got dressed up, but only made a short round to the neighbours, as was too windy and cool. The house looks like a bomb hit, but LUCKILY our clocks went back this morning , so I get an EXTRA HOUR TO CLEAN!!!

Hiya!
MrsD CONGRATS! So pleased for you

I'm coming up to 13 weeks now and everyone knows pretty much, Lily went back to school today and announced it in 'news' apparently haha bless her.

All go here too, we sold our house and a=had an offer accepted on the one we wanted so hopefully we'll be in by Christmas. So excited

Scorps... excited for you not long now

rainbow- hope you are ok xx

redtent - good luck for this month!

Babyblue - hope Marco starts sleeping better soon... I always resorted to co-sleeping but I'd prefer not to this time!

babyblue3 · 03/11/2009 01:17

Kat - congrats on your house news! Good luck moving a houseful of kids, plus being pregnant, all in time for Christmas! Cant wait to see some pics

How are you feeling MrsD??

What are you ladies doing about the Swine Flu? Are you getting your LO's vaccinated?? I am still on the fence about it. Tomorrow I have to call my doc to see if she was one of the few who got the vaccines. If not, we would have to go to a public clinic, and right now the wait times are 5-8 hours! And only for certain people (pregnant women, kids, the sick).

Kat congrats on the house!!!! And on the school announcement lol!

Mad house here, been xmas shopping. Also had a blood test this morning, except I missed the plebotomist. So I did a pg test and it was negative and I was officially discharged from the EPU. I was a bit emotional coming from their, it's the end and that comes with both releif and sadness. There was a woman who'd had a great scan and couldn't contain her excitement and it hurt in the pit of my stomach. But hey that's life, at least it's not doom and gloom for everyone there.

End of a chapter I suppose.

So how are our preggos, newborns and ttcers?

Meanbeansmum · 03/11/2009 16:42

A4rghhh spellings...no excuse for their/there confusion lol! Shameful!

babyblue3 · 04/11/2009 00:08

Sorry you are a little down Means... but its understandable. At least you can now move forward, grieve your loss, and look forward to a new little bean who is meant to be.

Marco is still sick, so he is not happy and as a result, nor am I!

How are the preggies feeling??

MrsD - hopefully you are coping well with the new LO, as I vividly remember the chaos when we brought Marco home!

Cant really focus on what I am writing right now as the house is soo LOUD I cant think straight!!

OP posts:
redtent · 04/11/2009 12:24

congratulations MrsD!!

((hugs)) Means- so sorry that you have to be where you are but glad that you've finally got the right results to move on....when you are ready anyway.

Blue- so sorry to hear about all the sickness.

Kat- YAY about new house! LOL at DD telling everyone at school.

I'm going to test later on today. I have horrid cramps, very thirsty, feel breathless and have erm not been able to hold my bladder all that well. So perhaps I'm ill...but I'm due today so I'll test if I manage to hold myself for a few hours.

Scorps · 04/11/2009 12:31

I'm good ta. Another mner gave me a mothercare voucher and I got 20% off my buggy and extras! V happy. I'm 33 weeks this Friday.... It's creeping up to formightly mw appts now. Eeek. I'm scared lol!!!

babyblue3 · 04/11/2009 17:22

Am having a really rough day today DH left 3 hours early this morning to have breakfast with a co-worker, so I had to do some of the morning routine. DD2 has been a horror, climbing up on everything, going into the cupboards and fridge to find a snack, pulling out all her DVDs... and Marco has decided to skip his morning nap in favour of screaming the house down! I am sitting here in my nightgown waiting for DD2 to go for her nap so I can shower in peace knowing she isn't pulling apart my kitchen. Then to make it all worse, I received a call from DS1's teacher saying that she is having difficulties with him and that he is falling behind in his studies. Sigh... I am soooo stressed! The fact that I am looking around at an untidy home with laundry piled to the ceiling doesn't help either. I feel like I am drowning today!

Scorps 33 weeks wow! Enjoy the last 7 weeks.xx

Redtent, good luck!!!! Hope you are pg and not ill.x

Babyblue, I hope tomorrow is a better day, it's always so hard with a tiny baby. It will get easier, you do an amazing job with 4!!! Don't worry about the washing, have a nice coffee and some biscuits and all will be ok.xxx

Kat, how is that little baby bump coming on?

I'm feeling much better today, I have honestly been fine just yesterday and the realisation that that was it hit me hard. I'm gopod though, back to my chirpy mental self.

katnkittens · 04/11/2009 21:27

((meanbeansmum))

I had my 1st miscarriage just before Christmas last year, it did help to have Christmas and festivities to enjoy and think about so hopefully you can focus on that and you'll be ttc again before you know it!

I am feeling so much better the last few days, I'm 13 weeks today and the sickness is rapidly disappearing... it's so nice although I am starting with the hearburn now which is not so nice but I'm not complaining!

It's a weird time right now, I passed 12 weeks so started feeling better but haven't started to feel kicking yet. Although my waistline is rapidly disappearing I wouldn't know I was pregnant otherwise!

redtent · 05/11/2009 09:31

I'm bricking it!!

I'll relax a bit more if I get through the next 8 weeks..... I can't quite believe it.

Very definitely pregnant though!

Meanbeansmum · 05/11/2009 10:53

Redtent, congratulations hunni!!! Have a happy and healthy 9 months!!!!!!!

Kat, you don't have time to feel pg with three to run around after lol! I hope the heartburn isn't too bad and you can enjoy the 'honeymoon' period of pg.

I'm having a lazy day, fed up of bleeding to be honest....must have been for the last 8 weeks!!!! Bring on normality lol! It's always the women who suffer lol! Well I've decided dh can have the next baby! I'm too exhausted to!

babyblue3 · 05/11/2009 16:59

Congrats Red!!! Sending you many sticky baby vibes!!

Kat - glad you are feeling better. Will be nice to be able to eat what you want for Christmas without being nauseous! I am looking forward to eating mine without being sick like last year... not to mention having a small nice glass of wine with my meal

OP posts:
katnkittens · 06/11/2009 17:17

Woooo Go red!!!
Sticky vibes coming your way!¬

I've got a consultant ap[pt on Monday... might try and blag myself another scan

Sorry it's a quickie, on my way out doing taxi driver things...

mrsdisorganised · 06/11/2009 22:19

Congratulations Red!!!

Thanks all for the congratulations for ds, he's very peaceful at the moment feeding brilliantly albeit mostly through the night but at least he's not a screamer like dd4!

Have had a slower recovery than I would have hoped for, escaped hospital too early and have had constant headaches (side effect of the spinal) since with blood pressure rising for the first couple of days, however c-section wound is fine and the rest of my body is pretty much back to normal with not much pain! Anyway today I have been out and there isn't so much pressure in my head so hopefully it'll be going soon!
Very happy and trying to enjoy and imprint in my mind all these early baby bits as there will be no more.....was sterilised during the section and I'm glad I had made that decision first as the choice would have been taken away anyway. The theatre team could see ds through the wall of my womb, it was very thin after the previous 4 sections, and caused a bit of a stir as it isn't a common sight at all. Felt slightly annoyed that my consultant gave the go ahead for the pregnancy when there could have been such a danger to me and the baby, but I shouldn't think that way and have our beautifull baby boy (and girls) and have been very lucky the girls all think he's lovely and we're settling into some kind of routine, ignoring the house which is still a mass of destruction......

Hope everyone is ok and will check in again with less of a 'me post' x

babyblue3 · 10/11/2009 05:15

Wow MrsD, thats a little scary with the see-through uterus. Had no idea that was even possible. Glad you were going in with the intentions of being fixed anyway, because that little revelation would have been difficult to handle. I remember agonizing for weeks about getting my tubes tied. Not sure how well I would have handled it had the decision been made for me. (Not that it mattered since DD2 and DS2 came AFTER the surgery anyway ).

So how is everyone? Been busy this week scrambling to get ready for Marco's Baptism on Sunday. Will be relieved when its over. Then I can finally relax.

Love the new smileys!!! Mmmmmm... the creme filled kind!!

OP posts:
Meanbeansmum · 11/11/2009 17:18

Babyblue, good luck with the baptism,I'm the same I can always relax after baby's christening.

Mrs D, wow, that's scary, sounds like you made all the right choices.

Red how are you feeling?

Kat any sign of a bump yet?

I think I'm ovulationg, my first real af was 2 weeks ago so it's bang on time. Avoiding dh like the plague lol! Natural family planning works well for us usually but we can't risk this after methotrexate so I'm being really really good but it's so hard!!! (excuse the pun lol).
At least by the new year I will know where my cycles are and then we can make some decisions. I know I want a fourth baby it's just a question of when. I'm inclined to say wait until I'm working again and settled and moved (house), we'll see.

waving to all.xxx

babyblue3 · 13/11/2009 15:50

Swine Flu We all got our vaccines yesterday morning (except for Marco), and now we are all feeling poorly. DD2 had a fever of 40.0 degrees Celcius last night and was hallucinating. Scared the crap out of me and made me feel so guilty for giving her the shot. The worst part is, because she is only 2, she got a half dose and has to go back in 3 weeks for the second half. The rest of us have sore muscles, low grade fevers and headaches. Between a grumpy baby and a sickly toddler and a sleep-deprived mummy, this is not looking to be the start of a good day.

Hopefully everyone feels better by the weekend, as it is Marco's Baptism. I am just about ready! Just a few more details and I am done. Finally got a dress to wear as well, and was pleasantly surprised that I went down a size! 19lbs to go before I can rest easy!

Scorps · 15/11/2009 17:01

Poo to SF vaccines - though im hoping to get one beofre dc4 born.

I'm 34+2 today and feeling so hugely full of baby. And really ratty!

Congrats to Red

babyblue3 · 18/11/2009 00:57

Scorps - Think you may have hit the "I'm totally done with this pregnancy" phase!! LOL

Marco's Baptism went really well. He was an absolute angel in church and afterwards as well. Since we had about 60 people at the dinner party, there were no shortage of hands to hold him, so I was afforded some uninterrupted adult conversation!!

How is everyone else doing?? Feeling crap these past few days. Have no voice to speak of... and its debatable whether thats from a cold bug or from screaming at the DCs all day yesterday! It was a day off school for them (teachers preparing mid-term reports), so they were home the entire day and driving me batty!!

to everyone
