Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Many congratulations KAT on the birth of Ava - what a beautiful name ,and a great weight too! Will look out for you in the larger families threads (though I'll let you off ttc-ing for no.5 just yet ). Congrats again, that's lovely news

Loopy - I know where you are coming from. I lost my little bean in October 2008 and got preggers in November 2008 with Marco. I wanted desperately to go back to work Preg in December. I was so upset by my loss, but wanted another desperately. When I found out I was preg, I felt slightly guilty because it happened so fast, but at the same time, happy for my new baby. We are women... we can handle all these complicated emotions at once!!! LOL

Diege - How are you? Any good threads for larger families? Have not really checked, since I seem to keep coming back to this one

Loopy - I would think you should be down to 0 real soon. Do you have to go for bloods to make sure?

Gettin real quiet on here again....

KatnKankles · 03/06/2010 19:41

It is indeed

Things are going ok here.. Ava was a bit of a screamer and I struggled a lot with breast feeding. She was feeding so often that she would end up covered in my blood when she started sucking so I decided to give up after a week really disappointed but since we put her on bottles she is so much happier and settled. Plus I was starting to resent feeding her which wasn't good for either of us.

Anyway, she's gorgeous and I want to keep her this age forever (well maybe once she starts sleeping through the night lol)

How's everyone?

Meanbeansmum · 06/06/2010 13:24

Kat sounds like you and Ava are settling, lovely news. I bet she's so lovely and snuggly.

All is fine here, I made viability!!! Whoop 24 weeks!!!!

KatnKankles · 06/06/2010 20:41

Wow that seems to have flown over means!

You'll be cuddling your little bundle before you know it!

xx

I'm still popping on and keeping an eye on you lot

Ava is a month old! Scary!!

Dh has an appointment next month for a vasectomy... I'm a bit sad but at the same time happy that I have 4 beautiful healthy children and will never have to be pregnant again!

Loopy, (hugs), it's so cruel. I hope the next time is easy for you.xxx

BB, no way, I'm not done lol! Still cooking my fourth. How's the family? Running going ok?

Kat, one month already!!!!!!!!!! She is so yummy! Vasectomy, yikes!!!!! I have no idea what we want to do on that front. Seems so final. I'm pretty sure I don't want any more but I'm 29, what's to say in 4 years I won't feel differently????? Arggghhhh, I don't know. Part of me dreads the thought of a 5th, it's not in my plans lol! But I'll be the first to admit that I'm ruled by my hormones. Hohum lol. I hope it goes well for your dh, snip snip snippety snip!

26 weeks here and I am sooo tired, not sure if it's a drop in iron or the heat. I'll try to eat better lol.

How's everyone else doing?

Thats wonderful news Loopy!! Hopefully things work out for you this time round. My girlfriend that I have known since we were 4, has just told me she is 6 weeks along and I cant be happier. She needs fertility shots to conceive and has been through a rough past few years (one baby lost at one month old due to heart defect and MC at 10 weeks). Makes me feel very blessed to have my 4 healthy babies.

Hi all, can I join in, we are just officially ttc #4, im pretty terrified, not sure why but im struggling a bit with this! I want the child just wish i could avoid the pregnancy!

we have 3 girls aged 5,3 and 1 (Friday gone) I had pre eclampsia and postnantal depression with the first 2 but not the third (not sure if there is a link there) so im hoping for luck to smile on me again this time, a nice simple uneventful hospital free pregnancy would do me down to the ground!

I had read a few pages and seen you were feeling a little lonely ttc, im sure there must be some more daft people considering building their family up, maybe we will be joined by more soon!

had never heard of shettles, did a bit of a google and it sounds interesting, I have very odd cycles though so I doubt it would be that accurate, plus I know what i am doing with girls now! well thats what i keep telling myself! I am quite a young mum and definately the baby of my group of friends and i got a shock last week to realise that despite my age i am seen as knowing about this parenting lark by someone who always seems very sorted and is a good few years older asking my advice! I was quite impressed! amazing what inflates an ego isnt it
