Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

((((((((((((((((Rainbow )))))))))))))))))))))It's so cruel isn't it! My symptoms are fading, my boobs are not sore, I think they are getting a bit smaller too, no cickness etc. I will POAS in a week and as long as I get no mid month abnormal bleeding I'll be confident all is ok. If I get on off bleeding over the next 2 weeks I will get it followed up. Thankyou for thinking of me. I hope we both get there hunni. It's dem oralising but I'm sure we'll get there.

babyblue4 · 27/12/2009 16:40

Rainbow - so sorry to hear what you have been going through. You should post more often. We have all been through this in the last year so we can be here for you to vent or cry... whatever you need.

Means - hope you are sorted soon.

MrsD - how was your little mans first Christmas??? Spoiled rotten I'm sure... just like mine!

Kat - how are you? When is moving day? What a hectic time for you!

Scorps - any news????

katnkittens · 27/12/2009 17:33

Goodness Rainbow, please don;t worry about your posts being negative! That's what we're here for even if all we can do is give you a virtual hug as bb said, most of us have been through similar and we understand.

I'm so sorry things haven't worked out for you yet but I know they will, you still have that DC~4 to come I'm sure of it!

Hope you had a nice Christmas. (and everyone else).

We're all signed up re the move but moving day isn't until the 22nd Jan as our stupid buyer keeps changing the date... actually she's quite nice, I saw her in a cafe in town last week and we had a nice chat so I like her now but I'm just impatient!

I have to go for a colcoscopy on Tuesday as my last results came back severe high grade pre-cancer so I might even need treatment during this pregnancy which I have been assured won't harm the baby at this stage.

It's still worrying though, I just want ti all sorted.

xxx

babyblue4 · 29/12/2009 17:42

kat - hope all goes well. What is a colcoscopy look at? Does not sound very pleasant... especially while pregnant. Speaking of... have you and DH started thinking of names?

Means - how are you managing Hun?? Dont worry... we wont abandon the thread until you are ready to come with!!!

Just a quick Hello to everyone else!!!

Meanbeansmum · 29/12/2009 18:26

I am fine girls, don't worry about me. I POAS thios morning and it was a BFN!!! Phew no ectopic for me!! Yay, honestly I've never been so releived to see a BFN! I don't give up that easily though lol, I'm so determined, I usuaLLY GET WHAT i SET MY MIND ON SO WE ARE OFFICIALLY GOING FOR IT! (WHOOPS CAPS SORRY LOL).

Plan is to take pre conception vitamins and folic acid, to eat well and give it a go this month! Dh is having an operation when I'm mid month, which is a bit of an issue but I have a cunning plan, lol...trust me you do NOT want details lol!!!

rainbowdays · 29/12/2009 20:14

Means - good to hear you have got your bfn and relieved your worries about an ectopic. And well done for getting the positive attitude going with the ttc. Please if you have any extra positivity send it my way will you!

Thank you bb and kat for the reassurance to post more often, I will try, it might just pull me out of the doldrums.

babyblue4 · 29/12/2009 20:48

Means - Yay!! (and NO DETAIL NECESSARY!! )

Rainbow - it really helped me. I started on this thread just after I m/c. And the support that I got during the time when I was preg, and had to have the amnio to rule out Downs, was brilliant. Keep us in mind!

babyblue4 · 30/12/2009 23:11

Scorps, what did you name your gorgeous bundle? Is she Lacey? She is beautiful!

I'm soooo broody lol!

babyblue4 · 03/01/2010 17:11

Happy New Year to all you lovely ladies!!! May 2010 bring us everything we desire!!

CONGRATULATIONS Rainbow!!! Lots of sticky baby vibes your way!!!

Scorps - your DD is a beauty! I LOVE the name Lacey! How are you doing? Why did you need the hospital visit?? Hope everything is ok.

How is everyone else???

katnkittens · 03/01/2010 22:39

Ooooh So excited for you scorps... LOADS of PMA for you and sticky vibes.

Hope everything is ok with you and the beautiful Lacey Scorps... it will get easier and she is worth it!

Nearly 22 weeks here, feeling loads of kicks, I never get tired of it, it's amazing. Lily (6) felt her kick tonight and she went running over to DH shouting that she'd felt Ava kick. Jess (11) kisses my stomach every night and says night night Ava.

Aren't my girls lovely! DS (13) grunts and says I'm getting fatter. But still gives me a sneaky hug when he thinks nobody is looking!

V excited for the 22nd and the bog move although also v scared by the sheer amount of crap we have managed to accumulate in a 3 bed semi!

katnkittens · 03/01/2010 22:41

Oh the colposcopy thing... it's to take a biopsy of the cells in your cervix. The Dr didn't do it in the end, he just had a look and said the bad cells were still there but no worse and I am booked in for the lletz (loop burning cells thingy) in August after the baby arrives.

babyblue4 · 03/01/2010 23:27

KAT - oh! I know exactly what you are going through. My sister went through the exact same thing few years back. She cant take birth control pills because it makes the cells grow faster. She just went for a pap last week to see where everything stands. Her and her new 'squeeze' want to have a baby together, so they are planning to get her IUD removed next year. She just wants to make sure that the cells are normal so that any necessary treatments can be done before they start trying. In her case, its a form of HPV she has (courtesy of her ex-husband).

QueenFee · 04/01/2010 21:44

hello
I may be a little late jumping on this thread but it would be nice to chat to someone who understands why i'm TTC no4 instead of raised eyebrows.
(Mumsnet friends not included in that comment - hi baby thanks for inviting me in here!)
My 3 are 5 , 3 and 6 months.

babyblue4 · 04/01/2010 23:01

Welcome QueenFee

Our thread is a little quiet at the moment, but as I mentioned, we are a mixed bunch and very supportive

How is everyone else???

Scorps - Lacey is just gorgeous! How is she? How are the other DCs adapting to their newest family member??

Kat - how are you feeling??

Rainbow - scan yet??? Still wishing you lots of sticky baby vibes.

katnkittens · 04/01/2010 23:30

Welcome Queen. Nice to see another loon in here I'm 22 weeks pregnant with number 4 (dd3).

I haven't actually had too many negative comments... not sure if it's because I have the age gaps so it doesn't seem like I'm popping babies out every year (no offence lol). I know many people don't understand why I would want another one when I have a son and 2 daughters all healthy and at school so I 'have my life back'. I hate that phrase is sounds like you can't have a life with DCs..

Anyway, I'm fine. Been sopping today with dd1, was nice although she's a good spender that one, I must have taught her well!!

Hope everyone is ok and new bumps are snuggling in nicely!

Scorps - hope things are getting better for you xx

Meanbeansmum · 05/01/2010 10:44

Hi Queen fee, welcome aboard! I'm a mum of 3 aged 7,4 and 23 months (tomorrow lol). 2 boys and a girl We are ttc number 4, darn hard though, had some loses last few months but giving it some welly this month. ;)

All is well here EWCM galore....I'm a very busy girl lol!!! Prob won't ov for another day or so though....still nice to get the practice in. ;)

Snowing here, just had a call to get the boys from school!!! I haven't done my weekly shop yet.....sainsburys are meant to be delivering here at 12...will they make it or will I have starving kids and get snowed in lol!

babyblue4 · 05/01/2010 16:05

Sounds like your side of the world is getting more snow than us this year! Cant say I am sorry, or even that I feel for ya!! LOL better you than me!!!!! We are just getting the bitter cold here, with a few flakes falling throughout the day. Not even enough for the ploughs, just the sand trucks.

Spent yesterday doing absolutely NOTHING!! Babies were co-operative, so it was a rare, relaxing sort of day. Am trying to finish reading a novel I borrowed from the library. Its due today and I am only half way through! LOL... looks like I will be paying out the late fees.

Means - shag away baby!!!

Meanbeansmum · 05/01/2010 19:18

BB, I am lol, poor dh...lol.

Not that much snow really but the UK grinds to a halt with 1" and everything freezes, the gritters don't come out, cars slide down roads and all hell brakes loose! It's total madness. I hate driving in this weather, it scares me silly.

Scorps, how is Lacey settling in?

Kat, how is baby bump? Are you feeling well at the moment?

QueenFee · 05/01/2010 21:16

thanks for a lovely welcome
kat I also hate the getting your life back comments. I love my life since I had kids!

As Alfie is still BF then I have no idea whether or not I am ovulating so it's a bit of a stab in the dark here (no pun intended ) I am not expecting it to happen any time soon.

I did however buy pregnancy tests today well I saw them for 3 for a £1 how could I resist!
