mild pmt feelings, looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking 'wow, I actually look nice today', mild one sided pain, lots of discharge, hornier than normal, looking at babies and thinkg 'oh, wouldn't it be lovely to have one of those' (same goes for bumps) ...

With regard positions, whatever does it best for you, because in my very non scientific way I have a theory that the better the sex the more likely you are to conceive... this is waaaay tmi, but, erm, the better the sex, the less I dribble, need I say more?

Cervical mucus turning transparent and very stretchy, like egg white. I found that quite a good indicator - if you start having sex when it happens you should hit the fertile window.

Was told that the best position to conceive was the missionary one, and to lie on my back with legs raised for 20 mn afterwards.
This being said sperm are clever enough to swim in the right direction, so other positions work as well! But definitely keeping legs in the air for 20 mn afterwards helps as sperm then doesn't dribble out. Sorry for the yuck factor...

Uh, yes I believe having an orgasm can help as it pushes the sperm further inside. But never orgasmed when ttc and that didn't stop us producing our DS.

Position- best is doggy style since you get a deeper penetration and so sperm has shorter distance to swim

Time of day- am because a man's sperm count is higher first thing in the morning than in the evening

Caffeine- if the man has a coffee an hour before sex it will make his sperm move faster (according to a friend who apparently researched it at length (no pun intended))

Ooh, rinkydinkypinky, that's really interesting.... we very rarely make love at night (just have very different sleep patterns, so I go to bed by 11 normally, while dp rarely makes it before 2 or 3 - and I'm not waking for him), and I always make coffee in the morning for him, then go back to bed.

The reason I say this is interesting is that we have been pretty successful at this conception lark and managed it 4 times in
8 months (... just not so good at hanging on to them, but am nearly 16 wks now )

Interesting, DS was indeed conceived in the morning... Downside was having to wait 20 mn before getting in the shower, so risking getting late for work!

It's really obvious when I'm ovulating, EWCM, horny as hell too.

I have all girls so I think DP's swimmers hang around a while.
