4th day of LH surge - what's going on??

I thought that ovulation tests were supposed to tell you when your 2 most fertile days are.

I've had a positive result for 4 days in a row. Is this normal?

Has anyone else had a really long LH surge? x

I had one for 3 days. No idea what it meant but it was the month I got my BFP, so don't think it was a bad thing

I had that this month as well 4 days of positive!. Day 2/3 were the brightest positives but the others were still pretty bright.

I left it by the sink for DH to see so he subtly knew what I was expecting from him!.

If you are pregnant though would it stay positive from the LH surge or not? Sorry didn't use it with DD1

I'm using the Clearblue digital ov. tests which only give you a smiley face rather than having to interpret a line (which I'm really bad at).

I think that the LH surge is the hormone increase leading up to the possibility of releasing an egg. I don't think it is present in pregnancy, although like you RetroMum1 I didn't use it with DS1.

It was the digital version and also came up with 2-3 weeks so I don't want to get too carried away, but OMG

Yes on 12th June I had a 2.5 day period that got lighter instead of heavier. Took a few tests after that, BFN so assumed it was a dodgy AF, my cycle is around 40 days.

LondonLottie so is that how I can tell early that I'm not pregnant. If my OV sticks say not ovulating after saying yes does that mean we weren't successful?
