Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:11

Hi VJay Sounds like you're coping well today. Good for you.

MrsKate · 06/06/2009 21:12

Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:12

Oh, meant to say. Tesco are selling the Braun silkepil epilator for a third off just now so it's less than £40.

VJaybigpants · 06/06/2009 21:14

Thanks neeko i'm only coping so well cos of where I'm at right now, if I wasn't pg I just know I would be in a much worse place right now, but thankfully all is good and positive for us right now

mrskate I'm so sorry about your house and wedding pictures, how crap is all that, I hope you get it sorted really soon xxx

Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:14

Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:19

Vjay Clearly no less than you deserve Have you got the baby's room ready yet? I remember having a hormonal hissy fit about 35 weeks because my DH suggested that we left wall stickers, curtains and cot until after DD was born. Took me 2 hours to stop crying. Poor man thought I was deranged!

Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:20

Just eat twice as many clusters then! haven't heard of them. What are they?

VJaybigpants · 06/06/2009 21:22

Baby hasn't got a room yet, at the moment our house is 2 bedrooms, once the garage is converted then baby will have it's own room, so until then, whenever that will be, baby will be in with us. It's a little weird cos we had everything decorated and done for ds, but this time the baba will just have to fit in with us, which is quite nice and relaxing actually cos I haven't got to do anything

MrsKate · 06/06/2009 21:23

cornflakes and rasins covered in chocalate xx

VJaybigpants · 06/06/2009 21:23

i'm off for an early night, night night my lovelies

MrsKate · 06/06/2009 21:24

night night vjay xxxxxx

Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:27

Night, Night Vjay Hope you don't have to get up to pee more than once!

MrsKate They do sound yummy. Wonder if I can talk DH into going to the Spar? He's been very busy DIYing all day - bless him - while I got to take DD to the swingpark.

MummyLovesSadie · 06/06/2009 21:49

Do those epilators work on your face? Since having DD I've loads of fine blond down on my cheeks & jaw-line ..... hallelujah & praise be to God for not giving me black hair!! I used Nair a couple of days ago & apparently I have sensitive skin as I now have a lovely little crop of scabs along my jawline - nice!!

OP posts:
Neeko · 06/06/2009 21:54

lol MLS Remember your skin is much more sensitive to chemicals when pregnant. No epilators are not siutable for your face. I'm sure the hair is only obvious to you (although others may notice the scabs...)

MummyLovesSadie · 06/06/2009 22:02

Cheers mate! So how can I get rid of these scabs then? They are starting to itch so I'll probably wake up & it'll look like a massacre has happened on my pillow!

Neeko · 06/06/2009 22:10

Sudocreme. Slather it on. Don't worry about appearances. You're busy being pregnant. Right I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams all.
Bet Barbie's too excited to sleep!

MummyLovesSadie · 06/06/2009 22:16

OK will nick some of dd's in the morning. Yes I'm off too, goodnight lovely ladies. xx

I can't believe it.. I've only been gone since lunch time and so much jibberjabber to catch up with... barbie this is FABBBBBBBBBBBBBBB news. We should be cycle buddies more often, we've brought each other luck. I am so happy for you honey. Now we can obsessively knicker check together
cupcake I hate the 1ww - it's so hard not to symptom spot so you may as well just do it. Just see if you can resist bad mermaid telling you to test though
Blue I'm glad the party went well. I have no idea who Annabel Karmel is... I have so much to learn
Moon I'm doing a masters in IT and exams are better than work at the moment so I don't mind!! It's great that you got out today. It's all small steps, like the first day you don't cry and the first time you go out with friends and act "normal". I know how hard this time is and I pray that none of us including you ever have to go through it again You are being so absolutely lovely about the new BFPs when I'm sure it must hurt like hell. You're a brave lady and things will get better. Please keep us posted on what is happening so that we can support you and give you lots of hugs when you need them xxx
Mrskate that is rotten luck. Everything always seems to go wrong at once doesn't it? At least you have chocolate, I think I will send you over some icecream too and a big hug xxx
Jools how did the cunning plan to seduce DH go?
ginger hope we get a bfp off you next! Has anyone heard from your cycle buddy bakingqueen?
gracie hope you have a better night tonight. I've been getting bad reflux, but find that a walk after dinner and a peppermint tea before I go to bed is really helping. Also they say avoid greasy food as it makes wind worse
LBM you are totally right, he will look like an idiot having messed that up, maybe the grade issue will get sorted after all
MLS how are things going with DH? Mine is being sweet (won't let me paint, I love it!!) but also is doing his best to avoid any conversations about the pregnancy About the epilator, I would avoid using it on the face, that downy hair might turn into proper hairs if you start pulling them out. Barbie would probably be the expert on this. There is this thing you can get in boots which is like very fine sand paper that is brillant for getting rid of stubble and I think works on the very fine hairs as well. Have you got aloe vera cream - it is fab after waxing so may help cool down those scabs!
Neeko YAYY.. it's great that you have definitely ovulated. Just 2 weeks and maybe we'll have another BFP for our collection
VJ thanks for sharing the EDD with us. I'm glad you got through it okay honey. Sleep tight
Big waves to baby iggy mermaid 4ever cupoftea mollie Scorpio MM Lion Sabs and Annie and anyone that I've missed xxxx
