Anyone waiting till 29th/30th to test and want to join me?

HI there,

Although I am offically able to test from today (CD 32) I had a early mc which started on the 21st April, so want to give it another week before getting too excited, as I think I ovulated late around CD25 ish.

Have been ttc for a while, had one mc last year at 7+4, and then another in April.

I know that if I join in on the ttc thread I will want to test, I am already dying to test as it is. So thought that maybe if anyone is looking to test next week then we can get through this week togther.

Heres to avoiding all chemists and HPT isle of the supermarkets

TTC #2 cycle..lost count CD32 ucl 30-34 OV CD25 / 15th (I think). ummm I think thats about it

Holding off is getting harder.

Tea has started tasting really weird. I threw up last night, and most importantly I've gone right off toast.

I love toast.

I don't know when to test though - I suppose I should wait until after the longest known cycle and then poas.

daisydotandgertie dont want to get your hopes up but am currently 27 weeks and have gone from being able to eat a whole loaf of toast to hating it since I got pg!!

How are we all doing today?

Still managed to hold of testing, DP wants me to wait until Monday as he doesnt want me to get my hopes up and then it be BFN. Ill be 17 DPO on Monday, so it does make sense but I'm pretty sure that if I test tomorrow morning with FMU there should be enough hcg if i was.

Dalrymps if youre going to test on Sunday morning maybe I will wait it out till then and pretend to DP that I compromised with him, when I really just wanted a testing buddy

Anyways I think I will see how I feel in the morning. Im still have pre AF type aches, but also have sickness, lots of CM and tmi alert my cervix is high and feels slightly posterior I think thats a good sign?

Ohh also stupid question alert: what is the best way to test? Pee on stick or dip it? You wouldnt know that ive been pregnant before would you lol. I have just always wondered

Princess - Well done on holding off . I was close to testing this morning but ds slept late so thankfully had to rush out of bed and get him up for breakfast and didn't have time!

I am really trying to hold out until sun morn, if I make it till then i'll have a chance. Have felt a little naseous today after lunch. Have also had a headache which I sometimes get the day before af so not getting too excited...

I don't know what the best way to test is, I would say if you dip it you're less likely to 'miss' and pee all over the stick iykwim. Depends how accurate you are I think

Not sure about the cervix position, I'm to grossed out by the idea of checking my own so have never done it ! Maybe someone on here will know?

I really, really want to be pg, i'm tired of AF arriving every month and being dissapointed! We've been doing the Deanna plan this month so I know we 'did it' at the right time. Fingers and toes crossed.

Gonna try my best to hold out till sunday with you princess!

My longest cycle since m/c has been 27 days which is tomorrow ...

I am already 3 days past my longest ever luteal phase length, have absolutely gone off tea and am so sad that I don't seem to like toast at the moment (love, love the news from Readyfor though). For the last 3 days I have felt very queasy from about 9pm onwards.

It'd be typical of me to have m/s in the evenings!

I am so sure I can't be pg - despite all the careful planning, and concentrated temping I just don't believe it can have gone right.

I'm too nervous to get my hopes up - not testing is a good thing. It puts off the disappointment! Think ostrich and head in sand.

Princess - just one more day? Do you think you'll manage?

Well I tested this afternon, didnt manage FMU as didnt get the change to grab the test before going for a wee.

Guess what .... BFP I cant actually believe it. However due to the 2 previous m/c early on im trying not to get to excited.

I couldn't wait any longer - I gave in this morning.

And I think it's a BFP.

The only tests I have in the house this morning are cheapie internet strips which aren't the easiest to read but we think there's half a line.

Thanks Dairy - it's a bit overwhelming here. My DH is wandering around with a smile like a cheshire cat. He's thrilled to bits. He said that he knew I was pg ... not sure whether than can be true! I certainly didn't.

It's a very odd line though - it is nearly as dark as the cover line, but only extends halfway across the stick. A trip to the shops this week I think to get a 'proper' test just to be sure. In the meantime I have no doubt I'll fritter away the remaining internet cheapies with lots of weeing sessions.

I wish you were on the due feb thread .... it's just not fair. On the plus side, at least you can have a good bottle of wine to cheer yourself up.

I just wanted to let you know that sadly I think I may have mc'again.

DP and I had sex on Monday and started bleeding after. The bleed didnt last very long and wasnt like previous mc's but Dr has told me to wait a week to see if it starts again. However I think I might do a self referal to EPAU tomorrow, as GP has refused as too early.

Sorry to come back with this news but didnt want to abandon the post.

I wish you all the luck with your beanies and TTC. How you all getting on?

Thanks for reply. I am not still bleeding, infact the bleeding only lasted for about 2 hours in total. My other mc were 3 days.
So I am trying to remain positive. But Dr didnt seem to reassure me just a case of seeing what happens. Which is why I am now considering self referal.

Only thing is I think Im only about 5+4 if beanie is still there so dont think a scan would rassure me that much anyways as unlikely to see a h/b. Was going to do a hpt in the morning to check that its still positive. I know hcg can hang around or a while even if it were a mc but at least it might give me some hope

Sorry you're having this worry princess. It sounds pretty positive if the bleeding didn't last long. Might have been something like cervical erosion? Hope all is well anyway x

yeah - surely two hours only of bleeding can not be a mc? even that early? wouldnt it have to be like a heavier than normal period?

i think this is a positive sign.

Hello Ladies

Justthought I would update you all.

Nothing really happening, decided not to go to the EPAU until Monday as DD had alot of parties etc planned this weekend and didnt want to spoil it with feeling down.

I havnt started bleeding again which I think is good, and still feel very pg, but guess could be hormones hanging around. Did another HPT which cae back faint pos, but I only ever get faint ones so wont read too much into it. Thanks my lovlies for your support its so nice to have somewhere to come and blab. LOL.

I'll let you know what happens on Monday, but I am assuming that they will just do some bloods as too early for scan I think.
