metallic taste in mouth but not PG...what's going on?

have been reading boards to pick up info but can't solve this one.

Am ttc (cycle 3) and got excited this time as developed metallic taste in mouth about 8 DPO. But period started to day (early, but have not been having very regular cycles - 28 days, then 26, this would be 24). Not sure if metallic taste subsiding or not yet. Maybe a bit.

Am I just imagining weird stuff? Anyone else had a similar experience? Only consolation is that was going out for dinner tonight so could treat myself to wine without any guilt...not great consolation though in the big scheme....

Proper period or just a bit of spotting? Sorry if this is going to prompt tmi!

I'm sure I had this a bit this month too but came on - 3 days late?!? A horrible trick of nature?

Weird heh. Seems more than is described elsewhere for implantation bleed. So maybe it's just post-implanon randomness. But out of interest would like to know how common the metallic mouth thing is and if it can be imagined

catlover - the weirdest thing - I've had 2 day period too?!? Very odd! Know some people do - but usually I do about 5 days? Bodies are so annoying!
