Hi Ladies, Im new to this forum. Actually Ive been on clomid for 7 cycles and ovulated on 4 of those cycles. Im currently on CD 4 150mgs clomid and 1500mgs of glucophage. I REALLY thought I was pregnant on the last cycle and I got a high reading of 41.5 prgesterone level. I had completely convinced myself that I was pregnant but of course yet again I was wrong!! So here I am on my 8th cycle of this rollercoaster ride and my 2 best friends have just announced they are pregnant and only 1 week between their due dates... so stressed out and feeling quite hopeless at the moment. Anyway this time Im going to use clearblue ov sticks and preseed!!! Any advice or uplifting stories would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

No advice. We have been ttc no2 for a while with no success. When friends fall pregnant it can be quite difficult, I'm not jealous of their fortune but I feel awkward because I think that everyone else must think that I am feeling envious!

I'm also getting fed up of the comments from people. The people that know we are ttc are always asking if I am pregnant yet. The people who I haven't told are always telling me that I need to get a move on!

I feel like my life is on hold because I am planning a career change but can't go ahead with my plans until after baby arrives.

I know exactly what you mean!! So you have 1 child? Did you find it difficult to concieve then? Are you on clomid also? I hate when people say you should get a move on... if only they knew that all I want is a baby!! We've been trying for 16 months and its all so hard... feel like my life is also on hold... I just dont want to do anything or meet friends... its really getting me down!!

I found it easy to conceive number 1 I fell pregnant at second attempt, I had just come off the pill (I was 31 at the time).

I'm 36 now and my periods haven't been right since I had my son over 4 and a half years ago. I rarely ovulate and when I do it is usually the day before my period. I have had a blood test and I am awaiting results. I am hoping that GP will prescribe clomid. I know that we are very fortunate to have one child.

I have started telling a lot of people that we don't want any more children as I am getting fed up with the questions. Ds recently started school and I have become a lot more anxious about it since he started as it is just me at home in the day.

I hope you get good news soon. We have the right attitude with our usernames anyway.

I know great usernames!! Its so good to talk to someone who knows the pain of waiting! My partner is so understanding but he still doesnt completely understand how obcessive it can get!! Hopefully your blood tests show something. Clomid is a great drug because I barely ever ovulated... Im 29 and Im turning 30 in June... Hoping to be pregnant by then but Im sure I'll still be in the same boat! I have 1 more prescription for clomid and then I have to get a lap and dye done... sounds awful but sure Id do anything at this stage!! Im sure we'll get our BFP's soon...positive thinking all the way!
