Just having brekkie before my bath before my doctors appt. Did another test first thing, still saying the same thing.
So - his reaction..........
He laughed, a lot! He just laughed and couldn't stop! Then he said the 'f' word a bit, laughed some more, then said 'you're joking, you're not, are you joking, no you're not joking', and then laughed some more and as he was sitting and I was standing he sort of leant forward and put his head on me and put his arm round my waist.
Then the friend who was parking the car appeared and said 'hi D, do you want a drink', which set him off laughing all over again and he ordered a brandy.
Then when we were alone again he said, 'wow, well i think another girl would be nice....... we're having a bbay.......habe you told X..........how are you..............do you want to sit down.............what, errrm, what........' and then more laughter!
Then our friends came back from the bar and D gave his BF the box. His friend said 'is this for me?' and D said 'No mate, that is most def mine'. I think his friend thought is was some sort of new ipod (!LOL) as it took a while and then it got loud. His mate was then asked to be godfather and we went off for dinner.
After dinner we went to the Notting Hill Arts club and when I got down and to the bar there was a bottle of Verve Cliquot on ice and 4 glasses there!
We did lots of cuddling and more laughing then came home and did what couples who are very happy do!
This morning he left me sleeping but kissed me and whispered 'have fun at the doctors and call me later'.
So that's that.
Off to have a bath and see the doctor and then I go and pick Lottie up and give her and my mum the news.
I'm crying at the thought of tellling my mum, she needs this good news so much, th etiming is perfect.
I'm having a baby girls.
I'll report back after doctors and visit to ma's.
Oh and I'll be printing off this thread and putting it in the baby box becasue you've all been so lovley and been a big part of my discovery. TC xx
