Implantation bleeding - urban myth or glimmer of hope?

I am now on day 24 or a regular 28 day cycle ... on day 20 i found a watery dark brown clot (eek sorry TMI) - then day 22 in the evening there was more dark brown clots - not much that lasted yesterday and has now gone ... AF due on Saturday ... Ive read LOTS of posts and could it be ? .. could it actaully be implantation ? .. did anyone have this AND end up with a BFP? .. ive read lots of posts but most dont say whether it resulted in a BFP - look forward to hearing from you - been trying for 14 months now so at this point everything is crossed!!

MiniLace - not much to add except to say hope so for you! And to wonder aloud if this mythical beaast of implantation bleeding always occurs on implantation?

Hi there - thought I would pop back on to say - its not a myth!!!! I got my BFP on Friday night - hurrah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yippee congratulations! I got my BFP this month too (very faint on Thursday but strongest on Friday am). and the only thing I had was on 3DPO (so way to early really) was a tiny splodge of EWCM and bright red blood- I do wonder if that was very early implantation.

had it with ds1... hadn't had a period since having dd and presumed my period was starting when i got some dark brown blood but i disappeared again o i put it down to 'weird bf-ing stuff' and didn't realise it was implantation til i got my bfp 8 weeks later and realised i must be about 10 weeks along
