I'm petrified of getting morning sickness. Is this preventing me conceiving?

Does anyone else have this fear?

Yes - I had it then had an MC so spent 2 months feeling rough as a dog for NADA

Having now researched extensively i have concluded that the best way of preventing it from being as bad as it might be is 1)being in very good health (to include diet and general well-being - I am on hardcore supplements from biocare) and to take additional Vit B6 once preg (between 5mg-100mg total per day) I understand this really helps a lot of people.

In relation to your original question I am afraid I really couldn't say whether or not that was preventing you from conceiving xx

I didn't have a fear as such but it was one of the things that bothered me, that and a painful labour and the not knowing what to expect, it took me 4 years to get pregnant with my dd, and I have no idea what caused the delay but I had mild nausea and the labour shocked me in a good way, I have been ttc#2 for 18 months and have not thought about the nausea or the labour and still can't get pregnant, now I think I might try to hard if that makes any sense, I think I spend my days thinking about ttc and this may be what causes the delay in my case.

It took so long ttc for #1 by the time I did get pregnant I had applied to the police and was going for my physical on the day I found out I was pregnant.
I was moving on and had decided if it happens it happens and stopped actively trying just moved my thoughts elsewhere.
And then she came.
I am finding it difficult to move my thoughts elsewhere again now so I think I may be in for the long haul again.

Stress plays a big part in ttc (or not), IMO.
