I promise this is a true story!

A friend of mine has very very long cycles and not much of the right type of secretion.

Having got the right lines on her little stick she knew that she had to get on with the BDing asap or there wouldn't be another window for months. However she was to her dismay totally, ahem, 'dry' downstairs. So she got an egg white and put it in a little bowl in a cupboard over night.

Now. Egg white is actually the right environment for swimming. (She had done her research). It's alkaline and obviously feels the same as its namesake.

So, the following morning she woke up, she Retrieved the egg white, which was now room temperature, stuck it up her noony, and got on the job. Her DH apparently thought it felt like she was feeling particularly in the mood and got quite turned on himself.

9 months later a lovely DD was born!!

sounds like an urban myth, but I reckon I would do it if I was that desperate to conceive.

Thandeka · 20/02/2009 11:27

Not supposed to be an urban myth at all- is supposed to work and is cheaper than pre-seed! but think you have to be careful of bacterial infections from the eggs!

My friend told me herself that she did it. No word of a lie.

but big lol at bringontherumpets
