I have read on a few threads that gfj can increase ewcm and had a few questions about it.

1. Is there any evidence for this, or is it mainly anecdotal? And if it is proven to work, how??!

1. Are you meant to drink it all through your cycle, or only in first two weeks?

1. How much is recommended to have an effect?

Not meaning to hijack your thread, but just wanted to say hello to Headfairy and so, so sorry to hear about your MC - it seems like yesterday that I was typing "congrats" to you on the September thread. Really sorry to hear this Headfairy, and hope you are okay. I haven't been on MN for a month or so coz I felt I was becoming too obsessed with it, so I've given myself a break. But I think of you all often. I'm currently on the 2ww but trying to be laid back, what will be will be etc. Hello to Issey as well, hope all is good with you. FIngers crossed we all graduate again soon. Not much of an opinion on grapefruit juice - I have some when I remember - but it sounds like lots of MNers swear by it so what's the harm? Also Robitussen cough syrup is supposed to be good if you're struggling in the mucus dept. Good luck to all xx

I'm beginning to think that there is no real evidence for gfj increasing ewcm, it is just anecdotal - but, as you said, what's the harm in giving it a go.

Very good luck on the 2ww - are you madly symptom spotting, or managing to remain calm and composed? When is AF due?

By the way Headfairy can I come and join you and Sunnydale and Issy on your new thread, it seems more fun than this boring grapefruit juice thread?

I only joined mn last month and I really really really want to ignore my cycle and not get obsessed with symptom spotting - I poas too often last cycle and then it ended in my 3rd mc (second in a row), so I want to do it differently this time.

(Will understand if it is an exclusive thread for old chums only - just let me know)

Hi sunnydale... I'm doing really well thanks. Surprisingly well actually. I think I've just got my head round the fact that not every egg is a good'un and I'm fairly philosphical about it all. I'm a bit frustrated because I want to be pg NOW!!! This is really dumb but timing is very very important, if I get pg now I'll be on mat leave in December and then I won't have to work Christmas. I hate working Christmas, ds will be such a nice age for it, and sod's law I'd get the Christmas 8am-8pm shift and that would kill me! Selfish? Moi?

I'm making it my new year's resolution (a bit late) to not count days, I have no idea when af is due, I roughly worked out my mid cycle and had lots of sex and that's all I'm doing. Now't else! I think I've gone a bit mad today, I've been up since 6 as we've got a team of estate agents coming to photograph and map our house to put it on the market, so I've been busy hiding things in cupboards!

How weird, this thread has had such little response and I thought clever people on here would have all the answers about grapefruit juice.
