Hehehe! there must be something in it, I am in the same boat, LMP Dec 16th, and convinced I ov'd late but even then dates don't add up, usual cycle 27days now on cd33 and still BFN's, only evaporation lines...arggg. I beat you both in age though I am 40! So frustrating waiting for an answer.

hotbot · 17/01/2009 14:07

err these tests are crap arent they.....
i tohught the faint lines as per instructions said PREGNANT..arghhhhh

OP posts:
rainbowdays · 17/01/2009 15:58

Hotbot - were the lines appearing within the 10 minute time limit? or you could have had a chemical pregnancy, where it fails to implant. But that is not much help with cheering you up here. I think it might be best to wait a few days to test again (says she who knows she won;t follow her own advice!!!!), as if it was a chemical pregnancy your af will arrive in a few days, and if not then you will hopefully have built up enough hcg for it to show up clearly on a test!

But just ignore me and test away, as I know it is what I will do .

Oh well the stress continues.

louisesh · 17/01/2009 18:14

Fingers crossed for you also HOTBOT

Hi RAINBOWDAYS Its horrible isn t it? I feel like "groundhog" day the same situation over and over..... Each day i think i ll try not to test and each day i fail!!! I ve no will power!!!

hotbot · 17/01/2009 19:42

thanks rainbow days = being a bit flippant but the money i have spent on pregnancy tests could have bought a stage of ivf im sure

i just want to know as i feel pregnant!!!!

OP posts:
rainbowdays · 19/01/2009 10:05

Well its groundhog day here for me again!!!!

Only possible sign that af is possibly going to make an appearance is that I have been taking BBT last few days and my temp went down today, so could be af due in next 24 hours???!!! Or it could be that I got up for half an hour at 3am!!!! . Oh well!

How is groundhog day for you both, hotbot and louisesh?????

louisesh · 19/01/2009 12:25

Hi RAINBOWDAYS im fine Still the same as you!!!! Felt Very much like i was going to have AF leg cramps started over last 2 days intermittently still bFN!!!

Definately convinced the bleeding i thought was implantation bleeding was now ovulation bleeding!!! Probably better to be BFN now as off to egypt in 2 weeks time....

Soo STILL "groundhog day"Its horrible isn t it???

hotbot · 19/01/2009 19:18

bled quite heavily since sunday - so have no idea whats going on. i am never late, and had lots of bleeding probs with my last pregnancy which resulted in dd, but i definately dont feel pregnant any more...sigh......
louisesh and rainbowdays - so sorry for both of you.this is pants, dd was a surprise and im thinking thats its better that way as all this hoping and planning is rubbish when yuo just want it now

louisesh · 19/01/2009 19:31

My first ttc which resulted in MMC in oct 08 was a surprise [although i d come off the pill 6 months before] i was 2 days late for my AF then a BFN!!!

Soo, yes think you re right its better as a shock/surprise!!!

Sorry its soo crap for you

louisesh · 19/01/2009 19:32

Meant BFP see i m soo used to writing BFN now!!!

rainbowdays · 19/01/2009 22:47

Hotbot - , sorry, does sound like you had a chemical pregnancy / early miscarriage. Would say that I hope that maybe you are wrong and that you are still pg, but sounds like you are sure it is over. I take it that you are ttc, and hope that you get a good big BFP soon. Do let us know when it happens.

Louisesh - hope that we get out of our groundhog days soon.

rainbowdays · 20/01/2009 08:13

ITS GROUNDHOG DAY !!!!

louisesh · 20/01/2009 12:39

rainbowdays · 20/01/2009 20:17

Numberfour - Hi, why are you testing so early????, if you are like Louisesh and I, you will have to bulk buy in the tests!!!! I am currently 10 days late with af and still getting bfn's. Oh the joys of ttc!!!

louisesh · 20/01/2009 20:49

Hi NUMBERFOUR its soo frustrating isn t it??? Luckily i accquire my pt tests from work but still spent about £30 on clearblue tests!!!!!Not surprised your still BFN but welcome x

Hi RAINBOWDAYS !!!!!!!!!!ARH..... just needed to let that out!!! Well , now booked a drs appointment for thurs just to ensure nothing wrong as 2 weeks today we fly out to egypt and want to ensure i m not PG with any problems before i go...Was going to leave it a few more days but aftyer being nagged at work realised i need to do something sooner rather than later. Now 5 weeks since last AF!!!!

Same place same time!!!!

Numberfour · 21/01/2009 06:47

yes i know! complete twit for testing so early.

and this morning i feel like i have mild period pains.

rainbowdays, being so late and still getting negatives would drive me insane! today i feel like i cannot be bothered. feel like AF started and i have worked myself into such a fever pitch about possibly being preg that I am exhausting myself at the thought!
Louisesh: poor thing! 5 weeks.... a long wait.

rainbowdays · 21/01/2009 11:05

It's Groundhog day!

louisesh · 21/01/2009 11:17

Same place same time!!!! HA HA [think we ll still be on here when we re 65!!!]

Hi NUMBERFOUR sorry to hear your news take care of yourself plenty of chocolate and wine!!!

louisesh · 21/01/2009 11:19

Just "accquired " more pregnancy tests from work!!! HA HA

rainbowdays · 21/01/2009 11:32

numberfour - you are not due for another week? therefore mild period pains could be early preg pains too.... don't want to raise your hopes but ...... no more early testing

louisesh - now I know why you stopped testing, you ran out of them,,,, come on, confess all!!!!!

Gosh I am putting far too many 's on here considering how badly PMT is making me like a crazy woman here !!!!

OK same time, same place!
