Yes I'm outing myself here. Those of you who have been told you are infertile might be a bit more hopeful after reading this:

Oh and yes, that is cake fat and not baby fat in the pictures, they were taken a month or so ago and I started my christmas gorging early

what a lovely story - after fertility treatment for dd2 I was told I would never get pregnant again naturally. It only took 3 months to conceive ds.

MrsHappy · 08/01/2009 19:48

Lovely story WMMC.

And you are a total stunner, BTW, as are your babies.

chipmonkey · 08/01/2009 20:18

wmmc, what a fab story! And you are gorgeous!
( I mean thatin a hetero way!)

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 21:28

rindercella - haven't got a CAT from you yet? Please pester away. My email filters went through a stage of eating everything but have now been shot fixed.

Ah thank you - for everyone who said I don't look fat, I'm about 20lbs above what I normally am but was 28lbs over when the photo shoot happened (I lost seven pounds over christmas - apparently by eating lots of chocolate and chasing toddlers ).

And thank you all for making me feel gorgeous.

I hope every single one of you who is trying for another one has my sort of luck.

Actually my sort of luck is going to cause me problems if I don't get sterilised soon, we have run out of bedrooms

Wow, lovely story

And I agree with Geepers ,you DO look just like a MNetter! (I dont think I do...not sure why)

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 21:47

Geepers and PrincessMel - what? You mean I look like someone who owns doilies and knits her own yoghurt?

OP posts:
princessmel · 08/01/2009 21:49

hehe!!

sometimes I see things or people or programmes and think 'this is soooooo MN'

lol

princessmel · 08/01/2009 21:50

Your article was well written and intelligent sounding, that is very MN too.

ClaireDeLoon · 08/01/2009 21:51

Lovely story, and I agree you aren't fat you and your DC's are gorgeous. Stories like this and the lady who got her BFP with the MN pregnancy test trial after 4 years of trying give hope!

elkiedee · 08/01/2009 21:54

Wow, what a lovely story

Heated · 08/01/2009 21:57

What a lovely story and you and the dcs are very photogenic!

onepieceofbrusselssprout · 08/01/2009 21:59

Lovely story. Beautiful dcs and their mother too.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 22:09

Actually you are probably right, I do actually own a few doilies Princessmel but I categorically do not knit my own yoghurt.

pasturesnew · 08/01/2009 22:18

Totally lovely story and pictures. Many congratulations all round.

ilovelovemydog · 08/01/2009 22:19

What a happy ending!

dancingqueeen · 08/01/2009 23:08

what a lovely story, I'm really pleased for you

beanieb · 08/01/2009 23:13

What a touching story - and how lovely that your daughter has Denise as a middle name.

Wonderstuff · 08/01/2009 23:17

What a fantastic story, you have a beautiful family. Took me 3 years to concieve our dd, worth the wait aren't they!
Oh and what fat??

gigglewitch · 08/01/2009 23:21

it's a brilliant article. well done you!

Niecie · 08/01/2009 23:24

Ha! I read that in the paper today and knew you had to be a MNer! (Though obviously I didn't know who). I was right for once!

Lovely story, beautiful photos.

A true story of hope.

callmeovercautious · 08/01/2009 23:25

WMMC - wow - I remember you when our DDs were both small and never knew you had struggled to get her We struggled to, not to the same extent but I can imagine how you felt

It is a great article, the photos are fab - and not an ounce of cake fat showing imo.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 23:26

beanie - that was my choice. DH's first wife never got a shot at being a mum But Poppy will be told about her and how she got her names when she's older. I called her Poppy because they are the flowers I associate with hope. In battlefields, though horrible things have happened, the next year Poppy's rise up and life starts again.
