Been trying for 18 months now with no success. Not trying very hard really but now i am fed up and really want to make a baby this year.

So i have put down in my diary the 1st date of my period.
Counted 7 days after and then we have been BDing every other day till day 15.

Today ive got like ovulation discomfort. Its day 16 now.

So for the last 18 months we have been trying around about the days of the ovulation pains.....BFN every month...so what am i to do now?

With 3 miscarriages I would ask the GP about referral to a recurrant miscarriage clinic.
There may be an identifiable, treatable reason for them.

You could also get the ball rolling about referral to a fertility clinic when you see the GP. While you are waiting for your referral to come through you could try to get a bit more technical and get a copy of the book Mawbroon recommended from the library. It is a mine of information (although warning: for some of us it is the start of a ttc obsession...)

No idea how long the referral will take around your neck of the woods. In London it can be quick - weeks rather than months, but that is unusual I think.

I know what you mean about thinking you'll just wait another month etc but you may as well get things rolling and then if it happens for you you can always cancel your appointment (just think how satisfying that would be ).

It would be helpful to get the ball rolling.

I just dont want to be prodded and messed around with BUT i now feel that i need answers and need to know if i will ever have a child. Its not looking very positive.
