hpts and opks - where do you get your cheapies and would you recommend them?

I've just had a mmc this week and we are considering whether to ttc again this month or not. I'm aware that for our own peace of mind re dating scans etc. that it's much better to know when you ovulated if we do manage to conceive this month, so getting -ve hpts and +ve opks would be really useful.

I've shied away from buying too many hpts and any opks at all in the past in case I develop an obsession, but cheapies seem a good idea to me this time around.

Anyone got any they would recommend?

I've used this one before, though there are loads of others on ebay (if you type 'opk' or 'pregnancy test' into ebay search they should come up)

Fertility Plan

They seemed fine - you can do Buy It Now on batches of 25, 50 or 100 tests I think, and specify a split between opk and pregnancy tests (eg if you order a batch of 50, you can ask for 10 of them to be pregnancy tests and 40 opks)

What I do is test from around cycle day 8, then as soon as I get any sort of a visible line I do two or three tests a day until I get a positive, as the surge can be quite short (a matter of hours) so it's easy to miss if you only test once a day. Luckily they're cheap enough for this not to be TOO painful financially! Good luck

OK I need to think about this - I'll need more pg tests to a) confirm a negative and then b) possibly test for a subsequent positive as well as more opks than usual for working out what's going on.
Fraid I can't think with an over-excited toddler around, but thanks for the link.

If it's any help I ordered a batch of 100 (about £17 I think) and had 75 opk's and 25 pg tests. It's lasted about 5 months (but I'm a bit of a testing addict!) and I'm just about to run out of both.

Meant to say sorry to hear about your mmc - (sorry posted in a rush before).
