I am 39.

Have been trying for over a year.

Have had severe endometriosis in the past (currently have a 4cm cyst, couple of other cysts, and a few small fibroids). Last FSH was 17.9 (prior to that ranged from 12 to 15). AMH test was 1.9.

Has anyone else been in similar situation and still managed to conceive?

Fairly similar. Had to have polyps removed, then IVF. Don't give up! Obviously you are seeing a GP or you wouldn't know all these details. Ask them what you should do next. Get concrete suggestions. Time for more intensive intervention, I would say.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Have had lots of intervention (unfortunately), seen lots of consultants. Can't have IVF (neither NHS nor private hospital will do it on me using my own eggs as they say it's just pointless, it won't work).

Our only option is IVF with donor eggs, long story but we're just waiting if someone we know will be accepted as a donor.

Just keep plodding on whlet we waiting in the hope that it may just happen naturally, but I'm obviously kidding myself

Did you know that if you go abroad it is reletively quick and easy to get donor eggs?

Reindeersnake, have you been abroad for IVF ?

I feel as if we are being robbed blind having IVF locally, is it much cheaper abroad ?
