yes, you could ovulate earlier then usual.

well in that case I should be ok as im always 28 days.

Im always 28 days too, but this pregnancy i got caught and ovulated on day 21! no period or + pregnancy test till day 35 rather than 28!

No idea why that happened, so you could have OVd early,

Best just waiting to see if you get to 29 days then testing.

but if luteal phase was 16 days and sperm survived for 6 then it is possible. Unlikely but possible. Reserach shows that if they get to the fallopian tubes they may be able to survive for up to 7 days.

I just saw this and wanted to add my piece. I know that I conceived once following sex on day 7. I know this because my partner had a bad back which prevented us trying again that month.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. This was due to damage of my tube and was not connected to the time of conception.

I think women are mostly likely to conceive mid cycle. However, stress / illness can all alter when it happens even for those of us with regular cycles.
