Hi guys

wasn't sure whether to post in here or pregnancy. I took a few pregnancy tests yesterday. All had a faint positive. But i'm only 11 days post ovulation. I took another test today and it hasn't got any darker. do i trust it or not????

A line's a line, so barring other (unlikely) medical complications, yes! congratulations!

i think that must be a BFP! congratu;ations lol at the 'few' tests. how many exactly???

littlemiss26 · 17/11/2008 17:38

well i had a few of those cheapie internet tests which were really dubious so went and bought a 'real' test - first response and they were on 2 for 1 at boots, so had four of them hmmm.... trying to count, I think about 7 tests , why haven't they got darker today then?

Your HCG doubles every other day i think so in theory it would get darker every few days. However, having done well into double figuers when i was preg with DD, i didn't find that it ever got as dark as i was thinking it would. I had loads of cheapie tests and found that the line came quicker rather than darker.

I think that you can trust a BFP when you're on 14 DPO onwards because then AF should be there. The fact that you got one so early is such a good sign, i would be quietly confident!

Congrats x

when exactly is your af due?mine was due friday gone and i've had faint lines since then(done a test every day since fri),and they haven't really got any darker!(or its me being paranoid!!)But as someone said to me,a lines a line!so i guess we have to count our blessings and believe its a positive!!!.x

well I've had a luteal phase of just 10 days in the past three months so i guess in theory i am already overdue! 14 days is this thursday. thats why i'm struggling to trust it x
