Hi All Back in the u.k after a fabolous mini cruise to Bruges was excellant {although another year older while there}

SAUSAGEMCGRAH EXCELLANT well done v. happy for you!!!

SABS STILL spotting fed up of it off for my appointment this pm for [oh what fun] an internal and high vaginal swab to rule out Strep b which the gp wants to eliminate!!!!

Again hard on cruise as again was booked when i was pregnant.

sausagemcgrah · 02/12/2008 19:33

Hi everyone,

louisesh, there you are! I'd missed you! Glad that you had a nice break though. How did the appointment this afternoon go? I hope you get some answers.

Sabs - Yey,, I'll stick around for definite then! When do you go to Inida? Are you there all over Christmas? Are you looking forward to it? I hope your day today was better and that you didn't have any more bad dreams. When I was pregnant last with my missed miscarriage I kept having horrid dreams (I think it was a sign), but 2 nights ago I dreamt I was breastfeeding the new baby. I'm taking this as a good sign!

Hi eevryone else! Mrsdisorganised - how funny was that triial with the blue guy on Celebrity last night! Ha ha!

louisesh · 02/12/2008 20:33

Hi SAUSAGEMCGRAH how nice to be missed!!!! Appointment this pm ok it was actually one of my colleagues i was seen by,she couldn t see any abnormalities or inflammation the internal was fine not painful which pretty much eliminates an infection.A swab was taken should be able to get the results in a couple of days.

Please can i ask you a personal question? How often were you BD? prior to your good news now.

sausagemcgrah · 02/12/2008 21:53

Hi louisesh,

We BD'd about 10 times altogether I think in the month (about every other day after day 8), but I thought we'd missed the crucial day as did it on about day 12 but not again until day 16 (of a 28 day cycle - I'm guessing as not had another period to confirm this.) So was very suprised actually when found out I was pregnant.

It was hard BD'ing as much as we should have as I was feeling up and down because of the MMC. I was also suprised I managed to get pregnant again so quickly as I've been so emotional that I thought that would affect ovulation etc. Apparently not!

Hope this helps, and I'm glad today went okay for you.

Sabs1981 · 02/12/2008 21:54

welcome back louisesh good to hear you had a nice time. And happy belated birthday! I know the feeling of "last time I was here, I was pregnant..." but lets hope that theres good news for all of us soon. Sorry to hear you're still spotting. Good to hear you're appointment was not too bad. Hope the results are postive.
sausagemcgrah I go to India on xmas day and back on 10th Jan. Then straight into jury service on 12th Jan for 2 weeks. So i'll be off work for over a month. Am looking forward to getting away but no so much the staying with extended family part - especially as its DH's family and not mine! We were thinking maybe to just escape a few days earlier and fly to Goa or Kerala to have a bit of a beach holiday b4 coming back to London. That will also be the time when we start ttc again...
*sausagemcgrah your dream sounds lovely...!

I had a much better day than yesterday, thanks for asking. I even went to the gym yesterday for the first time in over a year (Oh, the shame!) Went to a class called fast n funky aerobics. Hope to go at least twice a week now before going to india.

Sabs waves to everyone else who may be lurking...

also big congrats sausage

Those of you that mentioned the gym - I've found a fab class that am quite addicted too - is Boxfit - am doing that twice a week - plus horse riding and swimming - try to get as fit & healthy as poss at the mo...

louisesh · 03/12/2008 12:56

Is boxfit like boxercise? If so thats HARD you really know you ve exercised after that!!!! Hi IGGYPIGGY gREAT NAME!!! [WINK]

iggypiggy · 03/12/2008 13:12

Thanks louisesh

Boxfit is same as Boxercise I reckon - you do boxing with pads, then circuits, then ab stuff - is hard, but fun - has been 3 months since I started - am much fitter now

louisesh · 03/12/2008 19:10

Yes is the same as boxercise really hard but v.good for you.Have you tried spinning? thats really hard as well too hard for me so i gave up and returned back to my old faithful of swimming!!!!

louisesh · 03/12/2008 19:11

Feel sad as finding it hard to BD when all i want is to be PG You all know what i mean.

VJay · 03/12/2008 19:39

Yes, bd gets a bit mechanical after a while doesn't it! I'm trying so hard to be relaxed about it all, but it is hard.

Sabs1981 · 03/12/2008 21:03

louisesh 5 times a week, wow! I'm just aiming to go to classes 2-3 times a week. I really want to get back into my nice clothes and of course being fit will help when ttc. You're right, it does get easier going to the gym. The hardest effort is getting yourself there!
Definately looking forward to some sun, especially when I'm scraping the ice off the car (with my gym card cos i dont have a proper scraper !

iggypiggy i was thinking of doing boxfit too, but how hard is it???? lol

louisesh and Vjay* Sorry to hear you're feeling sad, especially about BD. I know only too well that feeling. And work is really not helping at the moment, when all I want to do is go on maternity leave

Sabs waves to everyone else

iggypiggy · 04/12/2008 09:03

louisesh want to try spinning too - but haven't yet, although am guessing it might be a bit hard for me!

Sabs1981 I find it ok - the first few sessions were bad, but I got fitter quite quickly and you keep changing activities, so I don't find it boring - try it

Sorry that you are feeling down Vjay and louisesh I have to admit we are not v.g about BDing apart from at the weekends... obviously we trying to do more, especially around 'key' time - but is hard when you not in the habit of it - that sounds bad doesn't it

louisesh · 04/12/2008 09:57

IGGYPIGGY know exactley what you mean in the week there doesn t seem enough time for BD especially when my DH is v.worried about what happened previously thinking its all such a struggle.Again well done on the gym

VJAY hope you re keeping your pecker up!!!! .Told DH we need to aim for BD at least twice a week but has become a bit like "work" !!!!

Hi SABS not long to the sun now

mrsdisorganised · 04/12/2008 10:42

Hello! Haven't been on for a while,(only 2 days) lurking though!
Feeling a bit down as DH is going to be away most of this month and I can't see anything happening
We've set a time limit of the end of January(DH wants baby next year or not at all...although I'm working on that one!)
Nice to meet everyone, and hope you're all getting on ok. This gym thing must be good, I live miles away from anything like that so it would be a bit of a novelty!! Quite envious in fact, although I caould get my bum in gear and start running again no shortage of places to run! Sorry for the ramble...have a good day to all

VJay · 04/12/2008 15:56
