Just had bath and boobs felt really sore. Really hoping this is a good sign! Then again last month I was convinced I had sore boobs and of course af turned up as normal.

Trying to relax and not think to much about things, Frost is on soon! (oh how I remember how I couldnt stand watching it when I was younger, how things change!) Might try and seduce dh later if hes not knackered just incase. Keep hearing how regular sex produces healthy sperm etc etc. God, its all so tedious isnt it?!

Pleased the thread still going despite me posting! Hello to everyone!

twoplease · 27/10/2008 10:48

hello all,

apologies for lack of posts - have been away for a few days.

well - i think i got a positive on opk last night so have been obsessed with bding esp s dh away soon. how can i keep busy for the next two weeks so that i don't test early? ideas please????

Pezzina · 27/10/2008 17:32

Hello lovely ladies,

AF is due on 24th Nov. On CD4 now and getting geared up for plenty of BDing!! Definitely the best bit of TTC

Caitni · 28/10/2008 11:55

hi ladies,

I'm now on CD3, with AF due 17 November, so I'd like to "officially" join you all - here's to November BFPs all round!

Pezzina totally agree that the bd-ing is definitely the best bit of all this ttc malarkey - DH thinks it's like Christmas every month . Though I must admit I'm mostly interested for the week around ov and am quite lazy the rest of the month

Twoplease sounds like you got plenty of bd-ing in over your fertile time so fingers crossed for you this month! The tww drives me a bit mad each month, so 'fraid I've got no good tips beyond just keeping busy .

theautomatic the sore boobs get me every month, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these months colleagues didn't catch me at my desk prodding my boobs . Hope they're proper symptoms for you though

Nomore sounds like you've got all bases covered on the bd-ing front! Hope you're not crawling the walls on the tww . I agree with M2O lots of positive visualisation - I'm using a hypnotherapy CD at the moment to help with that.

Big hello to M2O Scorpio (no 4! Good for you! Despite still ttc-ing no 1 I'd love a big family ) Lillypie LittleMissMichief & WhiteBeaches ('fraid I don't have a clue about EPO but am thinking of trying Agnus Castus though am a little nervous as I think it's powerful stuff).

nomoremagnolia · 28/10/2008 16:30

Hi girlies
caitni I'm not too bad at the 2ww, been through enough where I have climbed the walls that now I can't be bothered!
Pezzina Welcome
2please Hope you and DH are hard at work (so to speak!)
automatic I think we've all been guilty of the boob-poking!! How long have you got to wait now?

Can we update/add to this list please so I know where we're all at? Ta

Mummy2olivia due 30th November
Nomore due 2/3 November (on Clomid)
Twoplease due 5/6th November

Pezzina · 28/10/2008 16:41

Caitni · 28/10/2008 16:43

Hi Nomore

updating the list is a great idea, I've added my name/date (and also, er, put it in date order, in order to appease my inner control freak!)

Nomore due 2/3rd November (on Clomid)
Twoplease due 5/6th November
Caitni due 17th November
Mummy2olivia due 30th November

Caitni · 28/10/2008 16:44

Twoplease due 5/6th November
Caitni due 17th November
Pezzina due 24th November
Mummy2olivia due 30th November

nomoremagnolia · 28/10/2008 17:43

that I am not the only one with an inner control freak!

twoplease · 28/10/2008 17:50

i like the lists well done all. feeling a little pressure as i am near the top of the list.

lol at the dh and christmas thing caitini - so does mine - i must admit though, it is the one good thing about it taking a little while to conceive #2 because i hate condoms - if i do manage another baby, think i might consider a more 'natural' contraception technique no i know a bit more about my body. dh also given the thumbs up to pre-seed

can't help on the sore boob thing as it is a def pre af symptom for me - last month (when i had what i think was a very early mc or chemical pregnancy) - i didn't have sore boobs at all which is why i thought i was pregnant - nothing seems to be standard from one person to the next!!

Nomore due 2/3rd November (on Clomid)
Twoplease due 5/6th November
Caitni due 17th November
Pezzina due 24th November
Mummy2olivia due 30th November

theautomatic · 28/10/2008 20:09

Well, yesterday my boobs were so sore but of course today they're back to normal. Think once again I have managed to convince myself I have a pregnancy sympton when I probably dont. Odd thing is, when I was taking the pill I NEVER ever had sore boobs before AF which got me all excited. But then thinking back, I had sore boobs last month for a day or so and then af turned up the next week!

Well I thought af due 3 November but just checked a couple of websites and apparently its due this Friday... so not long to wait, though of course we know the waiting seems to last forever when we're all ttc

Caitni · 30/10/2008 12:42

Hi ladies,

Automatic the sore boobs things is tricky, cos it's a definite symptom for loads of pregnant women but is also a really common signal that you've ovulated or that your AF is about to arrive. Sends me around the twist some months! I've heard that it's progresterone that causes it, which is why so many women get it regardless of whether they're pregnant...anyway, I've added you to the list and I've got my fingers firmly crossed that AF stays away and you get a BFP instead!!

Hope everyone else is doing well, especially our tww-ers Nomore (lady, my inner control freak salutes you !!) and Twoplease

Theautomatic due 31st October?
Nomore due 2/3rd November (on Clomid)
Twoplease due 5/6th November
Caitni due 17th November
Pezzina due 24th November

pinkie08 · 30/10/2008 18:11

Hi everyone

I have just found this thread and although on a few others this seems loads of fun pls can i join in.

I am also on clomid and doing the "sperm meeets egg plan" i also used the opks to get that illusive +ive (just to check its working) isnt it funny how we all do the same things

Am now CD21 due 7th Nov and if i hadnt done the OPKs would swear having ovulation pains. Its only my 2nd month on clomid and am finding this abit confusing any advise Nomore

Could i dare to sympton spot and think its implantation pain ????

theautomatic · 30/10/2008 18:21

Thanks Caitni, I've got everything twisted to! Sore boobs again today but think this is because af due tomorrow. Can feel usual symptons coming on, stomach pain, cramping etc. Popped into Boots at lunchtime and was so tempted to buy a hpt but then thought about how gutted I'd be if it was negative with the rest of the day to get through at work depressed, so resisted.

Thanks for adding me to the list to! How are you doing, gearing up for lots of bedding? I have told dh we need to step our efforts up next month!

Just noticed on the list nomorethat you're due af in a few days too, how are you feeling. confident?

Welcome pinkie! I think symptom spotting is inevitable when ttc, and you never know...

theautomatic · 30/10/2008 18:24

everything crossed that should be, not twisted! that would be a bit uncomfortable...

pinkie08 · 30/10/2008 18:44

Thanks theautomatic
I have slotted myself in hope thats ok. I hate the sympton spotting.
When i had dd(age8) didnt even know was pg for weeks dont remember any symptons the whole 2ww thing drives me mad.

When are you going to test it usually gets the better of me at your stage?
Fingers crossed for you

Theautomatic due 31st October?
Nomore due 2/3rd November (on Clomid)
Twoplease due 5/6th November
Pinkie08 due 7th November
Caitni due 17th November
Pezzina due 24th November
Mummy2olivia due 30th November

twoplease · 30/10/2008 18:47

just did a really long post that my pc has managed to lose so just going to say good luck to all those bding at moment for nov bfps!

i am coping quite well with the 2ww thing - i'm not 100% sure when i ov so am trying to convince mself I'm not that obsessed!! i'm sure this time next week i will be symptom spotting like mad and if i get to next weekend without testing it will be a miracle!

nomoremagnolia · 30/10/2008 18:48

Hi pinkie How was your first cycle on Clomid? Did you get tested to check you'd ov'd (scan or blood test?) IF so I think you can expect each Clomid cycle to be the same, last time mine were 27 days, except cycle 5 of 6 when I was 6 days late (but -ive HPT so don't know why!) If you didn't ov first time round then that cycle will be no use for you to compare things with. I think the instructions say you take tablets day 2-6, ov 10 days later which gives ov between day 12-16 and then AF 14 days later (days 26-30) I must admit I didn't read the instructions this time but that's what I've got scribbled down on my calendar where I keep a record of all my cycles.

theautomatic · 30/10/2008 18:50

Hey Pinkie, I'm fully expecting af to turn up tomorrow, have that sort of wet feeling I get when I'm due on (have you ever had that?)
If it doesnt turn up will definitely test on Saturday, wont be able to resist any longer than that!

Not long for you to either, though the days just go so slow when you're waiting dont they?

nomoremagnolia · 30/10/2008 18:50

to twoplease's PC!!

pinkie08 · 30/10/2008 19:01

Hi Nomore

Yes your info is very similar to my instrucions. I take it day 2 - 6 and the consultant did bloods last month (1st cycle) was happy with progesterone,FSH and LH so no tests this month. Was lucky got those results on 50mgs.

It was nice to use the OPKs this month to just back up the knowledge of ovulation though as last month tried to be really calm and didnt bother using them IDIOT I AM am sure missed important days

theautomatic slow isnt the word.

XX

nomoremagnolia · 30/10/2008 19:09

I'm on 50mg too and it seems to work fine for me. I'd think you can expect your cycle to be the same as last time (assuming you're not pg of course )

twoplease · 30/10/2008 19:30

theautomatic - i know the feeling you describe - hope its just increased cm due to being preggers???!!!

pinkie i find days 23-28 take the longest!!!
i'm feeling positive actually, that even if i don't get a bfp this month that i am getting to know my body a bit more so know when the right time is - DH is also realising that we might have to actually really really work hard to make baby no 2 so is more sympathetic to me weeing on ov sticks and introducing pre-seed amongst other wacky ttc ideas!!

nomore - i think my computer is giving up the ghost anway - its really annoying though - don't really have the cash to get a new one!!

pinkie08 · 30/10/2008 20:01

twoplease

I take pregnacare conception and the two strips have 2 weeks worth of tablets on each so i count the days down by the tablets every time i look at them through the day recounting as if i dont know how many days are left

wishinanhopin · 30/10/2008 20:39

Hey Ladies
New to this thread.
On my 2nd cycle of clomid. Was supposed to have Ov-ed Oct 25.
So the wait begins. Waiting is the worst. Especially on Clomid becuase it mimics all the symptoms of being preggers.
Also the hot flashes are driving me mad. Anyone else experiencing these??

Babydust to all
