2-3 weeks pregnany on fancy CBD conception monitor but af not due till tomorrow?

Had a mmc in July so to say I am very paranoid and overly-analytical would be an understatement . Had a positive on the new CBDs this morning (ones that tell you how many weeks fast fertilisation you are). I'm on cd 28 today, and pretty sure I ovulated (and conceived) on either cd 13 or 14. That would make me 2 weeks pregnant today (fertilisation 2 weeks ago, 4 weeks regular lmp calculations).
A few days ago I was wondering about faint lines...now I'm worried that my hcg is too high! Should I have got '1-2 weeks' on conception indictator? Is it really worth obsessing over? .
Would be good to hear how other people got on with it!

I had never heard of the conception indicator till last night and I eneded up googling it and was on CB's site, which it did say that every womans HGC differs and it is only an indicator, you said that conception happened on cd13 or 14 which would make you in either in the last day of the 1-2 wk bracket or in the 2-3 wk bracket (either 14 days past or 15 days past) (Remember that the 1-2 or 2-3 is past conception on the monitor)

Thanks REALITYGAP! You're right, I'm sure there's some cross-over between 1-2 and 2-3, and that I'd be more concerned no doubt if it had come back 1-2 weeks! It's so hard not to obsess about every detail after a miscarriage (for me anyway). I must start to relax and accept what will be will be - I can't keep this level of anxiety going for months at a time!

You may have ov'd slightly earlier than htought, or implanted quickly...you never know! Just enjoy, and look after yourself

Hi scorpio . I had a positive on a opk on cd 13, and think from my body's signs that I ovulated on that day or the next. My line on e-bay cheapies is still faint but noticeably there (darker than on Wed), so def. think it''s 2 weeks rather than 3.

I used cheapo tests from eBay when I was pregnant with my 3 (also used others along side lets just say OBSESSED with peeing on things - must be the bitch in me) and they stayed faint for ages.....

I hear you on trying to relax after having a miscarriage - I miscarried my first pregnancy, and was terrible with the second (added to the miscarraige was IUI and then the next pregnancy was IVF) BUT you are right that worrying isn't going to help - so you need to just chill out - I will have a glass of wine on your behalf

I haven't really a clue about the CB indicator thing, just wanted to say well done and good luck! I have my fingers crossed for you x

ps. is it a bad thing if your hcg is too high? Mine was v high with ds, and he's fine... Think I remember that you've had HG in the past, so surely that would tie in with high levels of HCG?

I used my clearblue test with weeks indicator at 5 weeks by my dates. So should have come up 2-3 weeks on the screen. It actually came up as 1-2 weeks on the screen. Having had previous mc it sent me into a terrible panic...

Anyway went for an 8 week scan last Weds and that has put my dates back by 5 days. Although will have proper dating scan at 12 weeks. I think I must have conceived late that cycle

I an (usually) quite a rational person and am always givng out advice like you are to me, but it's harder to live by what you preach I am sure after googling reading about hcg levels etc that one day either side of the time given is hardly cause for concern, and that I just have to get some perspective . Sorry for your miscarriage Reality - glad I'm not the only obsessive stick checker . Enjoy the wine for me! (fizzy and sweet please).

CECE, I read somewhere on my trawl through web that hcg levels shouldn't be used to date pregnancies (as the CB test seems to be doing), and that early ultrasounds were more accurate. Many congrats on your pregnancy and positive scan - every best wish for an uneventful 9 months!

I think when it's happening to you it's certainly very easy to doubt yourself, and also to worry, esp after your mmc. I so hope everything goes well for you this time round. Make sure you try to relax - easier said than done I know, but if it's meant to be, it will be...

Am trying to be wise and philosophical - not sure I'll be able to follow my own advice when hopefully it's my next turn!

Thanks Monkey, that's very kind of you. Philosophical is good! I think if pregnancies were 6 weeks long we could afford to be paranoid and overly-analytical, but over 9 months it's a nightmare. Have everything crossed for you xx

Have got things into perspective as I'm technically 2-3 weeks today so was probab;y overplaying significance of getting that reading yesterday when I was 'technically' 1-2 weeks. So now I can have closure and move onto the next worry
