Mikafan · 08/09/2008 15:14

roq, I'll make you feel better, I'm 41 and am TTC no. 4. I have DS1 16 years old, DS2 8 yo and DD1 16 months. Have been trying for about 6 months now but DH has low mobility so it could take a while

Diege · 08/09/2008 16:44

Hi Mik Add yourself to the list!
NEMO - Sorry for your cold. We're doing the every other day thing too, although now that fertile time has passed my enthusiasm is waning somewhat . Getting quite bad cramps, and sore boobs so thinking af on the way

Diege · 09/09/2008 11:20

Morning everyone! Any symptoms to report yet anyone? Nothing here, except af pains I'm sure .

roquefortlover · 09/09/2008 13:40

No symptoms, on CD12 and have a high on my CB monitor! DH away tonight but we did manage "it" yesterday and the day before, and he's back tomorrow! I feel quite optimistic this month for some reason

Diege · 09/09/2008 15:07

Excellent ROQ, that's sounding really good. Would be lovely to have a June baby

shush3 · 09/09/2008 20:50

af due sunday sore boobs and crampy so don't think its going to happen this month

roquefortlover · 09/09/2008 20:59

sorry to hear that shush. Like you I tend to have sore boobs before AF so not having them is always a sign of pg for me altho I know it's the reverse for many.

Diege · 09/09/2008 21:07

Shush, sore boobs and cramps is sign of af and also pregnancy for me - I certainly wouldn't be too disheartened yet. Many women would see those as pregnancy symptoms!

shush3 · 09/09/2008 21:55

thanks roquefort and deige, its funny how much you forget.
I did feel like that the last 3 times like I was going to come on at any moment.

Will try not to be negative and wait and see on Sunday.

Got one of those free tests the other day, so really would like to use it

Diege · 10/09/2008 11:24

Well my sore boobs and crampiness have disappeared completely now, so def. not pregnant this month I'd say as I've never been pregnant and not had those symptoms...just want af to start soon (due Sunday)then I can get onto the next cycle!
SHUSH, I'll use my free one (CBD with odd concpetion thing) on Monday if af doesn't start before then

shush3 · 10/09/2008 17:27

as they say deige, it ain't over still the fat lady sings

My boobs are massive today and really tender again could be a sign of af or maybe not!

Nemoandthefishes · 10/09/2008 20:51

not got any ov tests but have been feeling rough like I have bad indegestion the past 2 days. am around CD 13 but tend to have a cycle of 35 days not 28...obviously am making hey while I can but seems early to be oving for me as am usually around day 19 or so...also PFB started reception today which was strange as I was so anxious about it but he practically kicked me out the classroom

Diege agree it aint over yet but tis frustrating how similiar Af signs are to PG ones

OP posts:
roquefortlover · 10/09/2008 22:17

Yup, not over yet Diege and Shush! I am on CD 12 I think and have a peak today on the CB monitor so off to make the most of it with dh (sorry if TMI!) I am always surprised by how early CBFM tells me I am ov'ing but it must be right as I got pg after only 2 mths use with the last mc.

Diege · 11/09/2008 08:53

That's interesting about the CB monitor ROQ - I may try one myself if no luck over the next few months. Good luck for today!
NEMO, great news on ds taking so well to reception. My PFB has just started 'middle' school (7-11) and is OK, but a little overwhelmed with how grown up things seem compared to infants.DD3 is at nursery and dd2 year one. Working from home today and dh is also off. He thinks he's in luck but on cd 26 I really haven't got my heart in it! .

Diege · 11/09/2008 08:53

Oh and good news on big boobs SHUSH

Diege, 38, dd1 7, dd2 5, dd3 2 ttc no.4 cycle # 1, cd 25
Nemo 30,DS4.11,DD1 2.9,DD2 20mths, TTC no.4 Cycle1 CD 12
Shush3, 35. ds1 10, dd1 8, dd2 4. TTc no 4. Cycle 1, Cd date? af due around 15th
Jemi, 31, DS1 4.3, DS2 2.3, DD 10mths, TTC no.4 - waiting for ovulation as still bfeeding - ? this next week as OPK lines getting darker!!
roquefortlover 41, dd 11, ds1 9, ds2 3 TTC no. 4 cycle 2 after m/c. cd 13
Mikafan 41, DS1 16, DS2 8 yo and DD1 16 months. TTC no.4
Rainbowdays 40, ds1 5, dd 3, ds2 5months, still breastfeeding only one proper period so far, cd 14. TTC no.4

Hope you don't mind me joining in here! I am still working on dh to be fully convinced, that I really will stop being broody after dc4. He is reluctantly conceding to my request to ttc4, as long as I promise not to ask for dc5 lol!!!!

Also did not want roquefort or Mik to feel too old here and so joining in to boost up the average age!

Nemoandthefishes · 11/09/2008 12:15

lol rainbow you sound like me..I have sworn to dh that I will stop at 4..although I think I said that at no.2

diege bless your PFB being overwhelmed it is strange changing no matter what level you are at.

OP posts:
roquefortlover · 11/09/2008 12:24

Aw, thanks rainbow for joining the oldies! I too swore to dh that no. 3 would be absolutely the last...my presence on this thread shows you that is not the case and he has now been persuaded on no 4...

diege, meant to say, my pfb has just started secondary school and I feel the same as I did when she started primary (although she seems fine)! Things never stop changing do they.

Diege · 11/09/2008 12:40

Welcome RAINBOW! LOL at pacifying dhs/dps! I was the same with no.3. and can't say 100% that I'll feel no.4 would be my limit, though that's what I'm feeling right now (and on days 3 is plenty too ).
You're right Nemo and Roq, the whole changing levels thing is such a big thing for them (and us!). Poor dd1 was getting quite worried about the prospect of taking money to spend in the tuck shop - anxious about having enough, what change she's get etc..in the end she's decided to take an apple, though tells me daily that some people even buy toast!! .
Well af def. on way here, as usual menstrual migraine starting / Not had one since before mmc, so takes me back a little. Still, here's to next month!

irishmama3 · 12/09/2008 15:38

Hey GiRLS
AF got me thurs so would love if someone would add me to the list! I'm cd 2 now Cycle 6 TTC#4. i know we''re mad but as roq said I was finished at 2 and told DH accidental no 3 was last but the broodiness won't disappear!Nemo I've had to swear this will be my last....but you know they enjoy the trying!(blush)

irishmama3 · 12/09/2008 15:40

Oh SHUSH Hope you're OK? Lots of choccy prescribed. When is af due? I've had some spotting this morning, so my af will no doubt turn up on time tomorrow. Not too disappointed, but still feel a bit, well 'flat' .

roquefortlover · 13/09/2008 11:39

Hi Irish mama and welcome. Shush, sorry you are feeling down - it's not over yet though, and you know that early tests are notoriously unreliable!

Diege, choccy for you too I think - it's always depressing when it arrives even if you've been expecting it, I guess it just squashes that last secret bit of hope... take care of yourself and enjoy the weekend!
