hello everyone. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather and not symptom spotting too much.
I am fairly certain I am out for the month as had some lower back pain and certainly not implantation bleeding this time(did with both children before I think), so I am not going to be dissapointed when af arrives anytime now

busylady · 28/07/2008 18:09

hello all

just posted on another thread, but i was about to go for a run and thought, i better just do a test in case (errmmm any excuse)

i got a faint line! but definitely there before 3 minutes....am gonna post to my profile - not getting excited as yet, but would appreciate any views!

LaLaBingBong · 28/07/2008 18:41

Wow busylady that's brilliant news! Was it with your FR test? Post it to your profile and we'll check it out. A faint line's still a line! What date was your period due (quick calculation to see if FR might work for me yet!)
Going out later but will look in the morning if not tonight.
Yey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we're a lucky thread already.

Hi Mrs Leroy. Don't give up just yet.

Welcome onboard Anniemac. Good luck to you too!

Hi, Can I join you? Its nice to have some fellow 2WWers!

AM also due around the 3rd. I think! I had a mc 3 1/2 weeks ago. I "tricked" DH into BD last week - he wanted to wait to TTC until I had my first period, but I had EWCM Sunday eve and a pos OPK on Monday. I didn't tell him and whey hey. I am symptom spotting like mad.

I thnk I am going mad too as I have convinced myself that every twinge is good and when I went for some reflexology last week, I had a definate response that I felt in my uterus area. Now that surely is a sign that I am going mad!

I am hoping that the D&C I had makes my womb more receptive! SOmeone told me that it does coz it cleans you out apparantly. We're on holiday from Saturday, so at least I may be able to distract myself until the Monday, and drown my sorrows when AF arrives. As she inevitably will.....

busylady · 28/07/2008 18:55

hiya

i've put it on can you see a line - it looks lots fainter than IRL IYKWIM

www.canyouseealine.com/view_home_pregnancy_test.cfm?testID=400

thoughts please

I think I'm 8/9 DPO and it was the FR early one

mrsleroyjethrogibbs · 28/07/2008 20:06

busylady I cant see your profile to see the pic

thanks labingbong but I reckon its not good for me. I am miffed but hey you cant have everything

lou031205 · 28/07/2008 20:27

busylady, I think I can see the line you are talking about, but I would say it is far too faint to determine that it definitely is a line and not just evaporation. Try again tomorrow, and I'm sure that you would get a better result if it is positive.

AbstractMouse · 29/07/2008 00:03

I see a line busylady congrats must get some new batteries for the camera, my phone one refuses to take a clear picture of a pg test lol.

Sorry to hear that mrs leroy, but you never know

God the time is going very slowly, and I have decided against getting anymore ebay tests, the temptation is too great and they are a bit crap anyway.

Any more symptoms anyone?

I still have the cm, wasn't there last month, vivid dreams and random cramps.

Oh actually meant to ask, does anyone else's nipples seem to grow in the 2ww? They are huge atm (TMI I know) but never noticed this before ttc.

AbstractMouse · 29/07/2008 01:50

Does anyone else have a time limit for conception at the moment? I have given myself this month and next 2 months to concieve or I'm taking a break.

Concieveing in September would mean a baby due (approx) 4th June. I'm not willing to go any more into the summer than that. Will start trying again in june next year.

I had my last 2 pregnancies in 2003/6 when I was due in sept/october respectively. I spent the WHOLE of the summer fucking huge (I tend towards the hippopotamus when pg) and it has scarred me for life, also judging that these were the hottest summers ever/lately I am bound to be pg when the temp is 30 degrees for a month (I used to literally cry at weather forecasts).

Does anyone think this is wise? or should I just push on?

Think I will find it hard to stop ttc even though I can vividly remember the misery

LaLaBingBong · 29/07/2008 08:31

Good morning everyone,

Busylady I've tried to look at your test but cutting and pasting the web address you gave doesn't seem to be working. Could you try posting the link again? (or is there another way to get to it on the site?)Or maybe it's just me.
Did you test again this morning? Fingers crossed for you

abstractmouse - (you were up very late!!) I agree, the week is crawling by! Symptom wise I have had a suprising lack of any cm at all (normall loads just before af (sorry if tmi this early!) and lots of back ache and cramps. But could go either way! Hmmmm - no, think my nipples stay pretty much the same! Hee hee.

No - not got a time limit on things. Just asap would be good! I can see why you don't want to be huge in the summer though. I can't imagine being big and pregnant in this heat now! Hard work. Agree that it will be VERY hard to stop TTC though. Hmmmmmmm. It's a tough one. If it were me I'd go for it anyway just in case it took those extra months but that's probably just silly!

How's everyone else this morning?

Hi, Can I join? Due 6 August.
TTC no2, for three months now, dd conceived shockingly quickly, in first month, so three cycles already seems like an eternity. How spoilt is that?
Felt symptoms past two cycles, but nothing this month - although, didn't feel any symptoms with dd, except cramping on day AF was due.
Had oddly short AF last month, which led to LATE testing but BFN, of course. Not sure we dtd at the right time this month, as it was around time we went to see relatives and had to share room with dd, which was a bit of a passion killer.
No time limits, just SOON please.

bigtree · 29/07/2008 20:58

Girls i've give in and done a test BFN ..cd 22.
I'm not buying anymore now till i'm at least 5 days overdue,so fed up of the sadness i feel when its a bfn and really can't afford it!I really am hoping i'm still in with a chance this month, its not over till she arrives ay!!
how is everyone else ??

AbstractMouse · 29/07/2008 21:08

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and not testing too often likeme.

Bigtree, loads of people don't get a bfp untill af is due don't give up hope. Tbh I am sick of looking at pg test and their tantalising evaporation lines.

Must stop testing early or get rich quick and buy a huge pile of clearblue digital (so want to use one of them but I'v never had good enough reason).

Sorry to hear it's taking so long anniemac, hope you didn't think I was implying I was superfertile btw (so not lol)

mrsleroyjethrogibbs · 29/07/2008 21:30

oh sorry to hear that bigtree, if it helps I am going to be joining you tomorrow me thinks as I have some pinkish cm now.

nice to see you here mootie

AbstractMouse · 30/07/2008 00:25

Just out of curiosity, when and what are af signs for everyone?

I really didn't think I had any, but I think the boobs growing thing is one. I don't get consistently moody (I'm randomly moody all month lol) or have af cramps apart from a few when af actually arrives. also the sore boobs/nips thing, I could swear I never had this prior to ttc but had it 2 months running now.

Has anyone kept a diary? Or would this just encourage the total growing obsession.

AbstractMouse · 30/07/2008 00:35

Hi mootie and ladyhelen btw

I know how you feel mootie, we concieved dd by accident and with ds we just stopped using condoms and I cockily thought I would just get pregnant the first month (I did).

This time we have only had unprotected sex once each month with this being the third, and the first time dp has agreed to ttc. Think it will be a dent to his ego if I don't get pg in the next couple of months, especially with actually bd'ing more often (aww poor bloke lol).

Since reading these boards I have come to realise we have just been lucky and it may take longer this time, theres no predicting it.

My Mum had 4 babies without any trouble before me, then took 2.5 years to concieve me and she was only 34. I do worry about fertility problems though as we would have a cat in hells chance of getting NHS help.

LaLaBingBong · 30/07/2008 07:52

Welcome mootie and good luck for this month.

bigtree it's still so early so don't feel down about it.

I've never used a clearblue digital either. Are they the ones that just say 'pregnant'? That would make it all so much easier rather than just staring at a line that might or might not be there.

How are you this morning Mrsleroy? abstractmouse - my AF signs are headache and crampy tummy and sometimes a bit of an upset tummy. And last time I was pregnant I felt all these amplified like I was about to have the mother of all periods! I think a diary might help, but it might just make you analyse every thing even more.

I know what you mean about feeling luky after reading these boards. I get so impatient that it isn't happening straight away like last time, then have to tell myself how lucky I am aleady.

Well - it's wed. Who's been testing?

anniemac fingers still crossed for you.

So bigtree are you still holding off the tests? I'm very impressed!

abstractmouse, mootie, ladyhelen2 and ebeson - how's the wait going for you all?

OP posts:
ebeson · 30/07/2008 22:49

Hi LaLa, i have to admit i tested today with a FR and yes it was neg of course. My cycle is between 30-34 days and the FR said you could use up to 6 days early. My 30th day would be friday and 34th day would be tues. If i was to be lucky im sure it would have to be my longer cycle for me to of got caught, so prob was too early to test. Im mad i know but just couldnt help myself, now i feel quite sad even though i really dont think i am this time anyway.
