I have a son aged 4 - conceived after much trying due to problems with me & hubby - really want another baby but no luck so far - am also concerned about the age gap even if I got pregnant now. Fed up with people saying stuff like - he's an only child is he? Makes me feel like I am depriving my son and I am on the scrap heap at 31 - nearly 32! Any advice please - feeling a little down.

Did you conceive ds1 naturally? If so, I would say relax!!! I've heard that the more stressed you get the more difficult it can be to conceive. Get a nice bottle of wine and don't worry! And I wouldn't worry about the age gap - he will be old enough to enjoy looking after 'baby' with you, and your baby will be lucky enough to have real quality time with his mummy when older brother is off at school.

Thanks for message musica ds1 was eventually conceived naturally but after a long time (8 years) - I have polycystic ovaries & dh has low sperm motility. Very lucky to have 1 I know but still hope to add to the family.

There's lots of advice on the 'trying to conceive and want to talk about it' thread ( NOT the one with a 2 after it).
Best of luck
