Spiraling a bit after positive, previous chemicals & MMC

Hello everyone, so I would be the first to say darkness of tests mean nothing as I had BFP, dye stealer, 3+ weeks on a test when I had my MMC but here I am again analysing my tests.
I am 2 days past AF due (like clockwork every month). I ovulated on 15th Sept so 14dpo now. I tested negative on 21st & 22nd stark negative no hint of a line.
Tested again on 25th so 4 days ago and got my first faint positive. I started my progestrone as prescribed once I got the positive test (due to previous losses).
Sunday 27th I took a digital and it was 1-2 weeks.

Yesterday evening I took 2 x cheapie boots tests (1 strip, 1 test) and both were positive, came up within 1-2 minutes, but not extremely dark, I wasn't too worried.
This morning I tested with FMU expecting them to be darker (I did not drink much at all yesterday evening/before bed, didnt get up to pee during the night etc) and they were much lighter than last night's tests and took longer to come up. I do have cramping which was worse last night and my extremely sore breasts that had hung around since ovulation have almost disappeared, I also have back pain but I dont know if this could be down to progestrone (i had back pain with 1 of my chemicals so Im worried) I'll need to call my doctor today to get HCG levels checked across 48hrs but I will be waiting days for an appointment in there, so in the meantime I think I will just drive myself crazy.
I know progestrone can delay the bleeding if it is a chemical/miscarraige and tbh I would just rather know if it is one.
I dont know what advice I am looking for really, I suppose if anyone has had a similar situation and it turned out ok?

Just adding Ive done another testing thinking maybe the residue from the progestrone could have affected fmu, and the second test is a little better but still not very dark for 2 days past AF due.

I'm in the exact same boat as you, tested completely negative 10dpo and assumed i was out. Then these are my boots tests from 13, 14 and today 15dpo and I'm worried they are too faint.

I don’t think you can really judge based on the darkness of the test and too many things can affect the level of hcg.

As anecdotal evidence, I felt similar to you after 2 losses and tested obsessively, I didn’t feel my lines were dark enough and I didn’t even get a bfp until after my period was due. I was actually pregnant with fraternal twins (now 9!) so I should have had huge amounts of hcg but for whatever reason those lines stayed light 🤷🏻‍♀️

So sorry you are going through this torture too, but since our dates are almost the exact same and our lines are almost the exact same too maybe this is normal for 14/15dpo? I think Im going to try get a HCG blood test done just i feel its the only thing that will put my mind at ease. Sharing my strip test too from 14dpo. Fingers crossed for us xx

You are so right!! Its just so hard not to obsess. I have heard that really high levels of hcg can cause lighter tests too.

It's just impossible to know isn't it. It's such a horrible waiting game! Do you have any kids already? I have a 3 year old boy and unfortunately had a mmc in June at 8/9 weeks so that's making me extra anxious.

It really is all consuming isn't it. My DH is lovely but he just doesn't get it. Also I'm going to be 40 soon and I'm so scared time is running out.

My DH is the same, such a lovely kind person and has been truly amazing support but he also doesnt get the testing at all. He's a just wait and see person where I need to know now (even though that's impossible)
Hopefully this will be successful xx have you been trying for long?

Tried for 6 months, got pregnant in April, miscarried in June and this is cycle 3 of trying since then. How about you? I was so tired last night I went to bed at 7.30pm 🤣
