Anyone else entering the start of the TWW?

3 DPO today and I’m already counting down the days of the TWW until I can test! 🙈😂

Anybody else just starting their TWW and fancy joining me to help pass the time?!

It really helped me last time to connect with others who were at the same point in their cycle, so thought I’d see if anyone else fancied a little TWW group for this cycle 😊

I’m 39, TTC my first. We’ve been trying since January, but unfortunately had an early MMC in July. This is my first cycle since, so I’m feeling hopeful! ❤️

Hi 😊 I’ll join, I’m just going into the TWW too, I’m 1DPO.
I’m not that optimistic about this cycle as we didn’t do the deed that many days during my fertile window but still keeping my fingers crossed! I’m 33 TTC my first. Sorry to hear about your missed miscarriage, I hope you get your BFP soon!

Hi @YoulookniceJacky, thank you! We only covered a couple of days as well in the fertile window, but hit the day of peak and ovulation so I’ve got my 🤞 too.

What cycle are you on? I hope you get your BFP too!

Thanks! I’m really hoping to be pregnant by Christmas but I know it can take a long time. Everyone I know seems to be announcing pregnancies or giving birth atm. This will be cycle 4 of properly trying to conceive.

I woke up on Saturday (2dpo) with the most horrid head cold, congestion and sore throat! Still feeling really rundown today and hoping it doesn't impact anything. Have been frantically googling of course!

How are you all feeling?

@GreenPickle I’ve also been rundown and had to check it wouldn’t impact fertilisation! 😂.

I’ve booked to go swimming tonight as when I conceived last time I went twice in my TWW 😊

@YoulookniceJacky It would be lovely to have a positive before Christmas! Fingers crossed! ✨

@Springcloud26 i was thinking fertilisation happened maybe Thursday or Friday. So in my head, it won’t affect that but implantation 😂 I kept reading that the body is too busy fighting the virus to care about the embryo so there’s more chance 😂😂😂 absolute delusions

Hello, I’d like to join. I’m technically not in the 2ww yet (one day before ovulation) but schedules mean that this may have to do.

TTC #2 on the second cycle after a miscarriage last year at 10 weeks that made me quite unwell. It’s taken us a while to start again.

I’m 40 and our DS is 5, so I’m feeling the pressure of time but would so love a second child.

Hi all! I'll join! I'm 3 or 4 dpo. I'm 41 and ttc our second. I have a 2 year old and he was conceived without really trying other than stopping contraception. This time around it's totally different and we've been trying since last December. I had an early miscarriage in February and as far as I know I haven't been pregnant since, but I've stopped testing early and started waiting for my period as it wasn't doing my mental health any good. This month I'm going to test on 6th October though as we've got an appointment to start the process of getting fertility checks so I figure I need to know before that!

I know I’ll be watching out for implantation signs on 6 DPO - I’ve checked my notes and last time I noticed some very light cramping!

I’m sorry about your miscarriage and that it made you so unwell.

I’m also feeling the pressure of time but taking it as a positive that even though it was a MMC, I did conceive when I got the timing right through tracking. Just trying to do the same things again, but I know I can’t control everything!

I think we’re about the same point in our cycle, I’m planning on testing 6th Oct too! (If I can hold off from testing earlier).

We’ve been trying since January and have said if not successful this cycle will make an appointment to start some checks. Is it still 6 months of trying even if have an MMC?

haha, me too! i've screenshotted all my flo notes so i can compare 😂 tbh i will probably test on 6dpo for the fun of it. i think i put i had belly pinching but i wonder if i have had these symptoms the last year or so but i havent really been paying attention

a lot of mine are like - am i pregnant or am i just a piggy? turns out i was both

I’ve never done the early testing strips before as didn’t want to know if I had a chemical, but now I think the knowledge could help me, if I do need to get fertility checks?

We're at almost exactly the same stage! We started in December so almost the same amount of time trying too. Good luck for the 6th! 🤞🏻 Yep, I think so! 6 months of trying whatever happens, I believe

I had a fertility check before but it was Hertility - I just wanted to know if something was up but it all came out fine. I think it was just one of those things.

i think part of me would want to know if I had a chemical in case I do need to be checked and I can say I’m having trouble keeping the pregnancy (rather than getting pregnant being the issue). It’s all very subjective as I understand seeing the negative test is quite disheartening! I think I would rather know early so I can just sit with it for a couple of days and then get on with a new cycle

When I got my positive, I really didn’t think it would happen so found it easier to wait until 15 DPO as I felt I was putting off receiving the bad news 😂. Now I know it can happen, I just want to know straight away! When will you test?

8dpo (Friday)! last time I got a VERY faint line in the morning but one of those where I thought I was seeing things. Did an evening test and could deffo see something! Have attached my tests (not me doing one 8 months pregnant to see what it looks like 😂). Can also tell I had crazy anxiety by doing tests at 4 in the morning 🙃

I might do one on Thursday as well so I can use it to compare and also just because 😂
maybe I fertilised the egg on the same day as peak 👀 deffo not but that’s how I justify testing too early

@GreenPickle That’s really useful to see your line progression! I know I’m going to cave and test early, after a few cycles of just waiting for missed period (one was positive, one negative and just very delayed) I may allow myself one cycle of early testing and see how it makes me feel! 😂

5 DPO today, I have busy day in work so it should fly by and then can start symptom spotting tomorrow! 😂

I did a test 3 DPO to see a negative as after my MMC I was seeing a vvvvfl for weeks and never actually saw a strip negative. I wanted to reassure myself that if I do see something it’s defintely new.
