Husband and I have agreed to keep news to ourselves but I just need to tell someone.... I'M PREGNANT!!!

Seven cycles trying and was beginning to lose hope. Surprised I haven't cried, don't think it's quite sunk in yet!!!

3 weeks 4 days since last period. So super early days, but it's happening!

Beyond thrilled!! It seemed like everyone around us was getting pregnant just by looking at each other (obviously never know what other couples are dealing with). We had started looking into private fertility testing but decided to give it one more cycle.

Really don't know how I'm going to keep this in! We're going to have a private scan at 6 weeks but have plans with both sets of parents before then!! And a Sunday roast with friends who will be very suspicious when I don't order beef.

why have you decided to keep it to yourselves? Would you not tell both parents if you were to have a miscarriage?

You might be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself?

Unfortunately neither of our Mums are great at emotional support. If the worst were to happen, we would end up having to manage their emotions as well as our own.

We'll tell them after an early scan confirms things looking okay. Totally understand that isn't a guarantee that nothing will happen, but does significantly reduce odds!

We've been to this restaurant before and know the beef is served pink! Would probably be more suspicious if I asked for well done bits!

Congratulations! How exciting! I've just received a bfp too! Really doesn't feel really at all. I've told a close friend, want to hold out a bit longer to tell family, as this is our third and I'm not sure if there will be any judgement, but if there is I want to make sure the judgement is worthwhile 🤣🤣
