Been ttc post loss in April. Cycles have been a bit out of whack but always had ovulation.
Last cycle I got static smiley on clear blue digital day 9 but NO positive LH premom. I mean very faint.

looks like the same is happening again this month. I’m CD10 just got a static CBD and my premom OPK is 0.17????
I am out of my mind with confusion and worry,
can anyone shine a light I am so confused???

@Rainbowdust1993 hey there. I personally had this experience with clear blue digital when trying to conceive second time round. My periods had become quite irregular since having baby 1. I was getting a static smiley face around day 12 or 13 but was not starting a period until cycle day 35. We had sex reliably around the static smiley day for 3 cycles and did not get pregnant. At cycle 4 I started to wonder if I was having a small LH surge and failing to ovulate early in my cycle, then perhaps a bigger one later on hence the long cycle length. So, like you I started using pre mom LH strips. So cycle 4, I used a pre mom every day and used the CBD too. I got the static smiley early again but kept using the pre mom strips every day and charted those using the app. At around day 20 I had a big LH peak, which I missed detecting with the CBD as after you get the static face it is done for that cycle and additional testing confuses it.

So we had sex based on the pre mom strips that cycle, not CBD, and we got pregnant. Now 21 weeks.

So my thinking is and this is just my personal experience/opinion that if your cycles are a bit irregular then the basic pre mom strips are much clearer. You also have more control to do them for the whole cycle as you can keep tracking beyond where you would stop with a static smiley.

Sorry long response but wanted to make sure I explained myself clearly. I hope some of that is hopeful, good luck with the pre mom strips and TTC xxx

@Rainbowdust1993 oh also, I found some really good help articles on the pre mom site itself about how LH peaks fall into different patterns and having one big peak isn't the case for all women. The single peak model seems to favour CBD and in this case it is probably a very reliable monitor. If you use the pre mom strips daily and chart the results with the app you can see exactly what your cycle is doing :)
