Faint positive line after two cycles trying to conceive?

Hello,

My partner and I have been trying for 2 cycles and this is the first time I’ve doubted myself and possibly see a line, well there is two lines in person with some pink colouring but the second is so faint it’s hard to believe, I don’t have any other female friends or family to ask so wondering if these tests look positive?

is it also normal to have some cramping?, it’s particularly on my right side like on and off pinching and mild

I can see the lines - mine looked the same. Are you testing early on? That might be why they are faint. Congratulations. I also had cramping with my son in early pregnancy and am pregnant with my second atm and had cramping too but all good xx

Yeah extremely early, it’s about 9 days post ovulation, only tested because of the weird pain and it never feels like this on my period, just hope it keeps getting darker over the days x
thank you so much for helping

@TheLimeMentor yes that's very early, I think I tested positive for both pregnancies around 10-11dpo and I remember the lines being faint. Give it a couple of days and hopefully it will be stronger! If your pain persists there is no harm seeing your GP don't be scared to go and see them at any point for any reason whilst pregnant xx

Oh I see it, yea thats normal, i had cramping with my 3rd, thought AF was going to arrive she didnt and I was pregnant instead

I took another test today first thing in the morning and it showed a darker positive line but still on the faint side, but the one sided mild pain and no other symptoms is kind of confusing, although it feels like I am peeing a lot more than usual if that even is a symptom

GP just went over the ectopic pregnancy signs and if the pain gets worse or I start heavily bleeding to get checked out asap but just trying my best to think it’s all ok

Really weird not being able to tell what’s ok or not as it’s a first pregnancy and not seeing a midwife until 8 weeks/12 for an ultrasound

@TheLimeMentor do you have a picture of the test? Really pleased for you that it is getting darker. It's still so early and it takes the hcg hormone 48 hours to double so you might still be getting faint lines for a few days. Try not to worry too much about that, easier said than done I know. I found my first pregnancy hard for that reason too, you have nothing to compare it to and every new feeling is strange and a bit scary. I think some cramping is really common in early pregnancy so unless you get any of those worrying ectopic signs like your GP mentioned try to get some rest and relax 😊in the early weeks the embryo is settling in there and it can cause some discomfort xx

Yeah I have more images, this one is the most recent at 11dpo

No scary symptoms apart from some back/pelvic pain so feeling a lot less anxious, just sucks I had signed up to do 3 extra work shifts this week so now getting tired 😴

thank you for the replies x

Hey girls, also TTC! I am 9dpo, what do you think about my sensitive test result? I increased the contrast of an image slightly. I also have cramps exactly like with my first born. Fingers crossed

The one sided pinching could be where you ovulated and it's just a bit inflamed, I've had pain like that in both my pregnancies and the US tech said it's this. Or just stretching pain as things begin to expand. I get cramping early pregnancy, as well as gas and constipation pain so it's never fun down there.

I know it's weird early pregnancy as you don't have many symptoms due to low HCG levels, but they'll come. Doesn't feel real until you miss your period and even then until you see them on scan. But congratulations definitely positive tests!

I think I see a darker shadow like mine at 9dpo 😊

Fingers crossed for you, hope it keeps getting darker x
