Positive ovulation test at 7dpo after confirmed ovulation

Im 7dpo, confirmed with tracking using clearblue advance ovulation, temp and cervical fluid. And pretty on time every month for ovulation. But today 7 days past ovulation out of curiosity I tested with one (ovulation) on the digital and I got a blank circle as expected but the test shows a whopping positive?!

Thats a negative, the line on the left needs to be as dark/darker than the control line to be a positive ☺️

As the PP said that’s not positive. Ovulation tests will pretty much always have 2 lines on them. They are only positive when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. So that is a negative ovulation test.

Ovulation tests csn be positive in pregnancy so do a pregnancy test

Thank you i started worry! , I did some research on these, as they are advance they test for 2 hormones left line is LH and the right is estrogen! Not a positive or negative test im just negative for LH.

In which case there’s no point looking at the lines to check if they are positive or negative. For LH tests you need something to compare it to in order to work out if it’s positive. If you don’t have a control line you can’t know if it’s darker than another line. It might be worthwhile investing in some cheap easy at home strips as well. I actually found them much easier than the fancy tests.
