Is a strong OPK at 8 or 9 DPO normal before a period?

Is it normal for my OPK to be this strong 8/9DPO and 5 days before my period?

Were you trying to conceive this month? It might be an idea to take a pregnancy test!

It can be normal yes. LH fluctuates throughout the month. Lots of people can get a darker test close to their period. It’s still a negative ovulation test at this point so that is within normal.

@KittyFantastica yes we were, pregnancy test negative at the moment! Just wondering why my Lh is so strong for this time of the month!
