So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I don’t mean to worry you but I’d be worried about an infection with those symptoms. The sharp stomach pain especially.

If you were tracking ovulation and so know your dates the vast majority of people would be testing positive on the day of their missed period. It is also rare to experience symptoms before HCG is high enough to be seen on a test, everything before that is normally progesterone which naturally rises after ovulation pregnant or not.

If you weren’t tracking ovulation then you could easily be pregnant and just too early to test. I would book a GP appointment in the morning if the pain is still there though. Better to be safe!

Miscarriage of very much wanted babies is so hard. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. What miscarriages tell us, quite brutally, is that there's no controlling, no rhyme or reason, when it comes to our bodies, cycles and fertility. Sometimes we get bloating and pain around the time our period would normally be due but when it happens when we are trying to conceive suddenly it all seems much more important. An app isn't going to help you here. If your period is late whilst you're ttc, take a test once a week. There are all sorts of reasons our periods can get delayed and also that our tummies can get bloated - stress, heatwaves, hormonal fluctuations etc. If, however, you are experiencing unusual sharp pain and unusual discharge then I would also check in with the GP to rule out infection. I wish you all the very best for a future pregnancy. Right now there's nothing you can do other than take care of your health and test once a week if you have a late period.
