Anyone conceived from sex five days before ovulation only?

Anyone had positive exp of getting pregnant only dtd 5 days before ovulation? We dtd on tues and weds but havent been able to since and only had a positive opk at lunchtime today. Send babydust!

Yes I did! Although I knew it was exactly three days because I track my temperature too. I find that I got a positive OPK about 48/72 hours before I actually ovulate so for me 5 days before a positive OPK would be nearly 7/8 days before actual ovulation. Do you track temperature?

No i dont track temperature so dont have much information other than opk and I also feel ovulation pain. Felt some twinges yesterday so really hoping ovulation is today. That'll be 4 days since we dtd but feeling like I might not be in with a chance this cycle

I would highly recommend tracking temp so get a more accurate idea as it’s the only way of knowing when ovulation is for definite. It’s really easy to do.

I’ve come to the conclusion that you can get pregnant at any time. My story: got pregnant first time by accident. No idea when I was ovulating. Second pregnancy planned but definitely a ‘let’s stop using contraceptives and see what happens’. Got pregnant immediately. Both babies born on the same date 6 years apart with different partners.
