Pelvic and internal ultrasound tomorrow and I'm nervous.

Been TTC since July 2025. I've been diagnosed with PCOS (high testoterone levels) so this is for further investigation as well as low iron levels and my TSH levels are on the high end. Had my first DC years ago who was a happy accident.

It's proving tricky with my DH who has also been diagnosed with a LSC and low testosterone.

Anyone having similar issues? I'm taking inositol etc but no luck yet, though my periods are a bit lighter and shorter.

Make sure that you climax after your DH. The spasms throw the sperm much further up, which increases the chance of conception. Are you tracking ovulation and making sure to have sex then?

Yes and yes. No problems with climaxing with him lol.

Finally got over 1 on the premom LH tests, first time since I started using them a few months ago so fingers crossed. About a week to wait for my results now.

Hi! I’ve only been TTC since December so only 6 months, I hope you don’t mind me commenting.

But I’ve got PCOS too and don’t think I’m ovulating. Never getting above 1 on the LH tests, max of 0.7. It’s really getting me down. I’ve also got very long cycles, between 40-50 days at the moment so a month goes past akd I still haven’t ovulated! And everyone else has had a full cycle! Im really sad about it at the moment. Going to try to see the GP at the end of this month I think and see if they will do anything!

Started taking inositol back in March but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Sorry, this has turned into a bit of a winge! 😂

Glad you have finally got your peak on the LH tests! Fingers crossed for you 🤞❤️ how many months without a peak did you go? Do you think you were ovulating those cycles?

I'm not sure, I've only started taking the tests daily around when I'm supposed to be ovulating after I got my diagnosis back in Feb and I'm still getting to grips with them.

My first DC was a complete surprise as myself and my ex weren't TTC but I was also a lot younger and fitter then too.

I started taking inositol after my diagnosis and this is the first cycle I've got a peak result (and on CD 14 which is unheard of lol). Last month I didn't get above 0.45, the month before, 0.85 was the highest. I have a period every month but can go from 25 days (which is rare) up to 35 days between. My last two cycles have been 31 days. Which is regular for me. It has helped my bleeding and clotting massively though and my period is slightly shorter now.

I've also started drinking spearmint tea to help with the bloating and started to add more fibre and plain yoghurt to my diet as well as generally trying ot eat healthier and hopefully lose a bit of weight on my tummy. Not seen any improvement for the facial hair yet though which sucks.

My vaginal scan came back normal so just waiting on the results from the pelvic scan now I think. Going to give the inositol another 2 - 3 months and then maybe look at metformin like the GP suggested. The only reason I haven't so far is because diabetes runs in my family and I don't want to potentially trigger anything plus I don't like the look of the potential side effects.

My DH is also waiting for a referral and to undergo more testing and I'm still waiting for my referral to endocrinology. I want to know more before I make decisions regarding more prescribed medication as I already have some health conditions which require me to take meds every day.
