TTC 2 years - about to start IVF - success stories?

Hi all… feeling a bit desperate. Been trying to conceive for over 2 yrs…I have just done 4 cycles of TI, with Letrozole, trigger and Cyclogest. 12 days post trigger and BFN. Really thought this month would work. Haven’t had one BFP for 2 years. Start IVF next week when AF arrives. Done all tests and nothing ‘wrong’ just unexplained. I am losing hope and feel so depressed. Any stories of success of people in similar situations?

We TTC for 6 years after getting married and literally nothing! Not one bfp! Tests showed my DH had slight low motility but the doctors said it was still very possible we could conceive naturally but it never happened.
First round of IVF and I felt nothing, no different, no symptoms what so ever but it worked and I now have a beautiful 5 year old dd! Good luck op, I know how stressful and upsetting it is and wish you all the luck in the world! xx

Hi @Alice12344, slightly different as we knew we have MFI but we were TTC for 4+ years, never had a positive.

we started our first ICSI cycle last September, we ended up with 3 high grade embryos and did a fresh transfer and froze the other 2…. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and being kicked in the ribs, hips, bladder almost 24/7

infertility is such a hard journey but don’t loose hope, it can end with a positive x

We tried for 18 years , did ovulation induction like you and it didnt work. We couldn't afford ivf in our 20s
It took 6 years waiting list here for NHS referral , tests and 1 round of ivf. We did that round in 2023 and it worked first time. I was turning 38 when I did that round.
Following that we tried for the past 2 years again nothing happened so we did a private round of ivf last year. We have 2 frozen and were about to do an FET that next month when I fell pregnant naturally. I lost it at 7 weeks and following that got pregnant every month but all early loses 4-5 weeks. We were told its just bad luck and we might have a better chance using our embryos that are frozen and as i waited to start that FET I fell pregnant again for the 4th time in months and it stuck , im now 12 weeks.
The body is so strange sometimes. I just cant understand how we couldn't get pregnant all those years ago and then suddenly im fertile mrytle .
One thing i did do differently in those months tho was on the advice of my consultant, I took very high dose vitamin d

Very similar situation to you. I keep shifting between desperate to get started and also "what if this doesn't work either". It's challenging when you don't have a known issue and you wonder what else could be going on.
