15 DPO with spotting, rising temperature and still testing negative

I’m 15 dpo and I never go past 13/14 dpo. Yesterday I had brown spotting and cramping so I expected AF in full force but today there has been absolutely nothing all day and this has never happened to me. I have been testing negative since 10 dpo and did a frer this afternoon which was negative but only a half hour hold. What is throwing me is my temperature spiked back up this morning so I’m wondering if something may happen but also aware it’s so late to be getting negatives still.

The HCG hormone ensures the continued raised progesterone level which in turn prevents you from bleeding. If you are producing HCG, a FRER would detect it though. Because of this, it’s possible that you ovulated later than you thought and are only 9 or 10dpo maybe?

Thank you, all the signs point to my ovulation date being correct so I’m suspecting it’s a weird cycle

BFN this morning but still no AF

Did AF arrive in the end? I am in a similar position with my temps showing ovulation and now 18 dpo, no AF, BFN tests……
