Experiences of Progesterone when TTC?

Hi everyone,

Been having trouble conceiving since my miscarriage late last year so visited a fertility clinic yesterday and found it really useful.
I'm still awaiting all the blood test results but they've given me progesterone tablets to take for this cycle starting a few days after my ovulation.

I'm CD1 today. Did a scan yesterday and said my uterine lining is thin for this stage in cycle (just before menstruation starts). They said it could be a luteal phase issue, as I've been spotting from around 9DPO in recent cycles.

I also have zero breast tenderness in luteal phase since my miscarriage (I used to get it) - and they thought this was odd and could suggest progesterone issue.
Rest was normal - mild polycystic features on one ovary but nothing concerning. I do ovulate - but likely implantation won't be supported.

He was also hoping progesterone could 'reset' my cycles a bit.

Anyway, has anyone had the same thing? Or tried progesterone and any experiences to share? I really hope this helps me in the second half of cycle. Really TTC #1

Thanks!
