Definitely don’t lose hope! My partner and I (40 at the time) had 3 chemicals in 4 months, followed by this pregnancy. And now currently 41 and 35+4 😊 It just took time for the right cells to meet.

Thank you and congratulations

Congratulations on the pregnancy. I hope this time all is well and you have a sticky bean hanging on in there. I am also 40, will be 41 in july and have done 3 rounds of ivf with no luck on getting good embryos. We had a mc at 7 week after our second round and nothing since. Im doing another round at the end of june but il be another year older and probably poorer quality eggs. I hope for you that this little one makes it and you dont have to put yourself through ivf.

I had three miscarriages between 41 and 45. I fell pregnant again at 45 (while under the care of the recurrent miscarriage clinic at St Mary's Paddington) and my baby was born three months short of my 46th birthday.

3 losses aged 37 - 38. APS diagnosis followed. Successful pregnancy, baby born just before I turned 39. Another miscarriage aged 40, nearly 41. Progesterone added and successful pregnancy followed, baby born just before I turned 42. Good luck 💐

Congratulations!! I fell pregnant with our second child at 42, after two failed pregnancies (so not miscarriages per se, but no heartbeat at the early scans sadly).

Really easy pregnancy and birth. She’s now 19 and last year achieved 3 x A* in her A Levels.

Once I was pregnant again I was given progesterone pessaries. I don't know if that is what made the difference, but something did!

Im 40 , I've had 6 pregnancies but only 1 living child. Was due to start ivf to transfer one of our embryos since all our natural pregnancies last year resulted in loses but I fell pregnant again and this one stuck and im currently 12 weeks

Fortheloveofbugs · 10/05/2026 07:39

I'm 42 and been TTC 2 years. DD took 2 years with one loss before. This time I've had three, what I call proper losses up to 9 weeks, and so many chemicals I've lost count.
Currently 7dpo on my third clomid month.
Love to see people's success stories in similar situations. Gives me hope.
