Do you know when you ovulated? I would think it's perfectly possible, esp on a 28 day standard cycle.

It is perfectly possible to be pg. Day 18 is the earliest day I have ov'd this year. Currenly on CD22 and expecting to ov today (although I said that yesterday and I am still getting loads of EWCm ). Anyhow, my point is tons of women ov between CD15-20 so perfectly possible.

V likely, I conceived after sex on day 17.

ordered a test online but waiting for it to arrive. i'm a bit loath to spend a tenner on something i can get for £2. is that being frugal or just tight?

Pick up a cheap test from a pound shop or but a home brand one. Good luck!

should be EWCM, can't type. "Egg white cervical mucous". Basically your CM changes throughout your cycles in consitancy and quantity and in the lead up to ovulation it changes to a consitancy similar to raw egg white to enable the sperm to reach your egg easier when ovulation occures. Generally speaking you ov on the last day (or in some cases the day after) you see EWCM in your cycle. That is a slightly simplistic explanation, not everyone gets it and just cos you see it doesn't nec. mean you ovulate but it is quite an effective method for many women including myself.
