Hey! Is there anyone else out there TTC and in their TWW after an MMC?

I am currently in 2/3 DPO (can't be exactly sure this month)

This is my first month TTC properly since I had a MMC at 13 weeks in early February

It would be really nice to chat with other women in this same position xx

Im sorry for your loss, mmc are so hard because they take you buy surprise and completely destroy your world. Im not in my tww but I had a mc in December at 7 weeks after 2 rounds of ivf. Currently on my third round and im on day 2 of stims with a possible egg retrieval on the 25th but we will see.. I didnt want to read and run. I hope this month you get a bfp with your take home baby.

I wish you success this month.
I had a missed miscarriage in September, baby passed at 6 weeks then a chemical in January, February and im now pregnant again. Around 22dpo.
Its a nervous time trying after a loss

Hi, thank you for replying. I am sorry for your loss. A massive congratulations on your new pregnancy. Will you have an early scan for reassurance? Or wait until the 12-week scan?

I also had a chemical after my MMC, but because it was before I got my first period, it was just so overwhelming that I didn't even process it. I am also now thinking about when I do become pregnant again, if I can be brave enough not to go for early scans and worry about every little thing

@anniehall12 its so hard not to worry.
This is my 6th pregnancy, one living child only so the EPU offered to give me an early scan next week when ill be 6 weeks. Ive been referred to the recurrent clinic but the midwife in epu said that might take a long time so they were more than happy to offer the scan given that ive had more than 3 loses i think its automatic.
.Im not sure if the scan will give me the reassurance im seeking .
Once you have a loss, i dont think that fear ever goes away . I still worried every single day of my pregnancy.
With my son , I had my first scan at 7 weeks as he was ivf so its routine . I managed to get to 10 weeks and then had to book myself a private scan as I was so anxious and then my scan with maternity was at 13 weeks. I was high risk so under consultant care in that pregnancy so had scans every 2 weeks and it felt like an eternity in between.
Its definitely reassuring to hear the heart beat at scans . The rest of the day is calming but then the next day my anxiety would kick in again.

My advice is, when you do become pregnant again, do what feels right for you. If you manage , then great. If not, then go for a early scan. Its worth asking if your epu would see you, just explain your situation . It might save on a private scan. I really hope you get your little rainbow baby. Please keep in touch
