Cycle 3 TTC and feeling anxious, any early journey tips?

Hi ladies,

I’m currently on cycle 3 TTC and CD8. So far I’ve found the whole process much more nerve-wracking than I expected!

I’m 28 and TTC for baby no.1. I haven’t started temping or using OPKs yet – just trying to keep things fairly relaxed and BD from about CD6–13 each cycle. I am taking supplements though.

Is anyone else in the same boat or early on in their TTC journey? Any advice or things you wish you’d known when you started?

Honestly my advice would be to not go on mumsnet. Make some real life plans and keep yourself busy. It’s normal to take a year or longer

Yeah it's a hard balance to strike trying not to obsess, but also trying to maximise chances each month. Recently I've been far too busy I'm hoping slowing down a bit will help TTC

When I did start ovulation testing I found I wasnt ovulating until days 15 - 18

It may be worth looking at recommended windows to BD in when youre not testing? Everyone is different so you may be spot on but cycle day 6 seems early and you dont want to burn yourselves out!

Good Luck 🍀

That is a good advice!
