Definite line, but not sure of viability

i haven’t done ovulation tests this time around, but based on my Flo app it predicts that I’m around 16dpo and said to do a test today (no period). My periods are pretty regular, but appreciate ovulation time may vary and can’t be as accurate without ovulation tests.

This is a clear blue 6 days early test and I just feel the line isn’t very strong for where Flo predicts me to be so I’m stressing about viability. I used ovulation tests last time (just over 2 years ago) and from memory I think my line was stronger 16dpo for my first child.

Im stressing and spiralling a little as I also had a MMC 2.5 years ago and I’m worried that is going to happen again.

I guess at this point in time you really dont know if you ovulated late and you may not be close to 16dpo and more like 10dpo not saying that is or is not the case but just making an example. Unless you were tracking in any varies ways there is no real time line of where you are at. My advise is to wait a couple of days and do another test and see if it progresses.

@Miraclemuma03 thanks I will do that. We agreed for initial months not to do ovulation tests etc and see what happens (I always track my periods regardless of TTC or not). So this has happened quicker than we expected - in a happy way, but just has me anxious that I don’t know for sure when I ovulated! Thank you for the reassurance

Early pregnancy is rough, especially in the first initial finding out stage.. I hope everything works out and things progress as they should..

Update - major migraine last night and fainter line this morning. No bleeding but thinking may be a matter of time. Still have quite a bad headache.

The migraine sounds awful. Im sorry the tests arnt progressing like you were hoping. Maybe a chemical pregnancy has occurred. Please be kind to yourself..

Thanks. Tbh I’m just hoping bleeding starts soon if a chemical for closure. I had MMC before falling pregnant with my daughter and have fears of going through that again and all it entailed.

Thankfully bleeding started this morning. I’m obviously not pleased about it, but was looking like things weren’t viable and I feared more about a MMC so this at least helps me move forward

In the best way possible, im glad the bleeding started and your not stuck in the limbo anymore. Im so sorry your going through this and I hope you can recover quickly amd you are surrounded by support.

Further update - the bleeding this morning was super light and had none since. And no cramping like I normally get with period. Still have nausea too. If it doesn’t get any heavier/if get no more bleeding then looks like another test Monday. My little girl has been doing a very good job of distracting me and making me laugh today thankfully.
