I've been testing, even though I know nothing will show but one can be hopeful!

Just trying to breathe, trust my body and stay as patient as one can be. My period is due a week tomorrow.. so not too far away, just a little bit of a wait ⏳✨

I'm trying to keep myself busy and distracted with other things.

It's our first month of TTC, this year after a pregnancy of unknown location last year. It's taken me twelve months to feel ready again!

How is everyone else holding out?

7/8DPO here (not 100% sure, ChatGPT and Natural Cycles think different dates 😂). In our second month of TTC #1. Sorry to hear about your past experience, it sounds very tough. Hopeful for us both 💕✨

I'm 5/6 DPO, 1st or 2nd month trying, depends on whether I count last month as I got in a muddle on which day would be ovulation, so we missed it! I guess that doesn't count. Anyway, I'm trying not to think about it too much. I have quite short cycles (23/24 days) so can still squeeze in one more month of trying and not risk a Christmas baby. My nephew is a Christmas baby and I wouldn't want to inflict that one a child if I can help it - I appreciate a January due baby could be early!

Hello!

8DPO Update: This morning's test was negative, as expected.

I think previously in the past I have always had a faint positive around 11DPO so I'm holding out for then, really. It's so hard trying not to compare my results with others and trying to keep positive at the same time.

I know we are all different and have different cycles and it might be that implantation may happen at a later time for me.. or maybe not at all, who knows.

Anyhow, I've just been keeping myself distracted and busy so far today. We haven't any plans as such for Valentine's day but we've been out for lunch at Dunelm cafe and I had a lovely garlic bread cheese toastie, followed by half a donut. That's my treat for today.

Our Dog has been unwell over the last 12 months on/off and deteriorated quite a bit a few weeks ago. She is now on new medication which can cause gastro symptoms, and over the past 24 hours she's vomited 4 times and brought her food up.

I'm not overly worried as I know this can be a side effect but I've booked an appointment at the Vets on Monday for her just to have a check up. And I am monitoring her food intake.

I think we are going to go for a nice long walk on the beach this afternoon and then off to my parents for tea later this evening.

We've so much in the house to sort out, that's it quite overwhelming. I really don't know where to start!

Hope everyone has a lovely day 😊

9DPO Update!

I did two tests this morning and both were negative. Boobs a bit sore and a few cramps/twinges but nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been to the gym today for the first time in a long while and it felt good to achieve something.

I think I'd like to start concentrating on a healthier diet and getting more exercise, over these next few months. Some of my weight has been creeping back up sadly!

Me and DH went for lunch and a coffee, and then we watched a movie at home this afternoon.

Overall we have had quite a chilled day and I'm going to get an early night too as I've work all day tomorrow.

Needs must I guess!
