Chemical pregnancy but no heavy bleeding?

I’m currently going through a chemical pregnancy. I started spotting on Monday evening and by Tuesday the bleeding was a bit heavier but nothing too bad. It’s now Wednesday evening and the bleeding is very light, I’d say by tomorrow evening it will have stopped.
I would normally get quite heavy periods but this has been lighter than my usual period.
I was expecting really heavy bleeding with clots and cramping as that is what I read everywhere but it’s been nothing like that.
Is this normal?

I've had two chemicals. First one I spotted for about a week then heavy bleeding for another week and full of clots.
I've just had my second one earlier this month and I bled regular flow for about 5 days and no clotting or cramping so my two experiences have been different to each other.

Thanks 🙂
I was only 4 weeks 2 days when I started bleeding so maybe if I had been closer to 5 weeks the bleeding would’ve been heavier. I’ve woke up today and it’s pretty much stopped.

Have you done a pregnancy test?
