What will it be? Surprise late BFP or likely AF?

Positive opk day 17
Tested from 7dpo all bfn
Had mild cramps and brown when wiping 12dpo. Expected Af.
Nothing happened. No more pre AF cramps, nothing. I usually cramp a lot in the run up.

I know after nearly 2 years TTC our 2nd (my third) and after I lost 4 times in the last year or so, that it's not likely.

Writing this as a rant really. Just when I think I know what is or isn't happening I get an odd month that throws me and gives me hope.

Also, I'm 42 so don't have all day!

I'll just add that I think if there's any hope its because I perhaps ovulated later, maybe a 2nd rise but I'd stopped testing lh by that point.

Well, I hope that it’s a late positive if that’s what you want! Did you test negative at 12DPO?

@overwork yes I've tested every day as if i do get a bfp I have progesterone to start.
It's unlikely to be anything but I feel like by doing a post, I'm doing something.

Oooh! Well I suppose it would be a little unusual but I don’t think things work always quite how we expect them to with our bodies do they? Do you have a test to hand?
I genuinely got pregnant accidentally at 38, by having sex once at the tail end of my period. And now, at 42 (snap) and nearly a year of trying, with sex timed perfectly each month, it’s difficult to believe that could have happened! Infact I should start deliberately miss timing sex and seeing if that works…
