Hi all, myself and my husband are planning to start TTC in the Spring after one last holiday just us. I currently have a copper IUD which is coming out in a month just to give me some time off everything (I can't wait). I'm 33 and have regular cycles every 26 days. I use Clue to track and get EWM and spotting around ovulation which is promising.

All my friends are giving me conflicting advice, do we bother with ovulation tests? Do we do it everyday? Do I need natural cycles. I kinda just assumed that using the Clue app and my symptoms would be enough.

Also any advice for what I can do now to help. We eat pretty well and I take iron, folic acid and vitamin D. I also go to the gym once or twice a week.

@BunnyLover92 how exciting for you both 🤗

Having a regular cycle is so helpful to calculate optimal dates for conception

This article should give you some clarity.

All the best lovely 🌸

Unless you have fertility concerns, don’t over-pathologise it.

Give yourself say 6 months to genuinely enjoy having lots of sex.

Then see where you are at.

How exciting!

You’re just starting out so there’s no need to think you need extra tracking and monitoring so no need for ovulation sticks. Your cycles are regular and you know when you’re ovulating, so that’s ideal!

Try to have sex every day or every other day before, during and after ovulation and as you’re on the folic acid already, that’s all there is to it really!

Good luck!
